Am I mistaken or did she get a bit emotional talking about Book 9 around the 20 min marker? If so, that speaks so much about the heart and soul that she pours into these books. I love her books and I love the TV series. They captured each Character so precisely!

I am just past that part of the interview, I thought she was having a throat problem that surprised her. Plus, as she talks quite rapidly, I am wondering if the audience was having difficulty understanding her. The audience seems very quiet and reserved. I am used to U.S. audiences that are very vocal, clapping, etc. Perhaps the audience will warm up farther into the interview. Or perhaps the quiet audience has thrown her off guard? It will be interesting to listen as the interview goes forward.

If you continue to watch her interviews over time, you will find that she is an emotional person. These characters are very real to her. I’ve witnessed her “choking” up many times during various interviews. She is a genius. ♥️

When she reaches for the glass of water it is more of a distraction than cleansing her throat.

An amazing series. And, surprisingly the TV series follows closely to the prose. The TV gave me faces, and the basic visuals and the novels have brought me in. The book has sucked me through the stones and is now part of my life. And, while I remain me, I am also them. All of the characters, landscapes, great escapes, and all the stuff that makes The Outlander Series a must-read. I simply don't understand how Diana Gabaldon does all that she does. Anyway. Thanks for the adventures.

I LOVE her books! Somehow I only discovered them about a year and and a half ago, I have no idea why i was not aware of them!!! I love hearing about her writing process. I cannot put them down, I'm on book 9 now, Go Tell the Bees that I am Gone. And I've raced through the TV show. I'm waiting impatiently for season 7. I hope fervently that book 10 is not the last!! Fabulous and fascinating story.

HG Wells and Jules Verne were once my favourite authors Well done Diana. How you have done what you have done is beyond belief. It would take another seven series for me to be enthralled by, just to watch your life story. Sadly I can't read the books due failing eyesight, but I am captivated by the TV series, even though I have to pause it frequently to read the subtitles. You make me laugh, you make me cry, and you make me horrified in the same story. Who could ask for more?

I am in awe of your talent ,the amount of research that has to be done for each book is outstanding…I have thoroughly enjoyed every book and have read each of them a couple of times and I want to read “ the bees” again soon..presently I am enjoying the audiobooks ……the series are very different, but to see the story and the characters on the screen, the costumes and the sets are an absolute tribute to the talented people that make it all happen . I’m going to be really upset if I “ cark ” it before book 10 is released as I know how long it takes you to finish your books. Thankyou for all of the enjoyment that you have to given me and the world…🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I am very interested in the Raymond story, but DG and i have that age issue, even though she is a decade younger. Needless to say, as long as you write books and i can still read them, i will be buying and reading your books. Thank you for writing these stimulating adventures.

There's something different about how writers speak, no surprise ofcourse, but it's just fascinating to hear them do with their mouth what they do with their pen. 😅😅😅
