She has become famous in the broadcast "You're Great!" ("You are Super"), a song contest reserved for children who have had a difficult start in life. This voice, which penetrates into the soul, and chills to the bones, is absolutely incredible, some kind of unearthly, or something. And it's not just Diana, they call her a "shaman". It's impossible to break away from her when you listen to her sing, the magic of her voice is fascinating and it's not just the performance of a song, but a whole performance, Diana immerses you in this work, carries you along, and you just meekly follow her, trusting her completely. Greetings from Scotland! "Ворона" is pronounced as "Varona" and means "Crow". Remember this was a contest and a live contest at that, in front of a full audience and other contestants. I think you may be meaning the very deep note in between the very high note that you are hearing? That deep note was done by a backing vocalist named Vlad. Everything else is absolutely Diana. This young singer has the worlds most unique vocal abilities and they are all naturally occurring in her. I think you need a short background on this vocal miracle! 😊😊 Diana was 18yo here but is 19yo currently and I've been following her since she was around 13yo. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she now has a 4 octave range and it's increasing. She also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones so it sounds like many voices at the same time! Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) she dragged her to a bus stop with a broken collarbone and abandoned her, saying "Survive if you can" A passing relative took her in but because she cried constantly (naturally with a broken collarbone) she took her to the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage! This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. Hi, I have heard many of Diana's performances. One thing, among many, that she is great at is being on pitch. There is a second, or two, in the song "Can't Help Falling in Love", where I initially thought that she was was searching for the tuning. But, after hearing a few other performances, where she does the exact same thing, I understood that it is an artistic decision. I don't hear anything "out of tune" here. So, maybe it's just that Diana was doing something that wasn't expected.
