What did Vysotsky want to say in this song, what kind of pain and anxiety was he trying to express? Who are these "horses", what are they? In my opinion, "fastidious horses" is a very strong poetic image of passions (for example, alcohol and drugs) that have taken full power over a person, and he understands this with horror. At first, he inflated them himself -dispersed them, whipped them up with a whip. Then, when they were carrying, suddenly he saw that they were no longer listening to the "tight whip", they were carrying themselves along the very edge… Hence the feeling of being a "fluff" that cannot control its life, and is only capable of being swept away, carried away by the wind. And the most important and terrible thing is that a person understands WHERE these "passion horses" are taking him. And powerlessly asks "... a little slower ... at least a little, but prolong it." Maybe make a slight adjustment? Not really about life. More about the lifestyle of the composer.

I have heard three people perform this song. The author, Vysotsky, Diana Arbenina, and Diana Ankudinova. It's only my opinion, but I think that those who criticize Ankudinova only do so because she is not their hero, Vysotsky. It's as if they would prefer the song to die, with the composer, than to gain new life. Of the three, I only listen to Ankudinova again and again. I cry each time. I can't say that about the others.

Ты не прав. Мне Диана очень нравится может и не все песни мне заходят. Но именно это выступление (лично для меня) считаю сырым ( пережала ). Вот второе выступление в разы лучше.

В каждом из них я вижу, что Диана лучше (по моему мнению) в той или иной части, чем в другом спектакле. Но, если выбран какой-либо спектакль, критика была слишком резкой, слишком несправедливой. Wow! You guys really chose a tough one! It doesn't get any deeper than this. That a 17-year-old girl can perform like this is amazing (she was 17 in this video). But we already knew that she is amazing. This is one of Diana's favorite venues. She likes the intimate atmosphere. It's like a dinner/nightclub. I would love to have dinner and have Diana sing for me! I'd pay a lot for that experience!

Я лишь, не устраивая каких-то длинных нотаций, показал Вам как выглядит этот упрёк зеркально отразив его . И даже пояснил в чём трудность понимания лирики на чужом языке. From what I learned, she is basically attempting the biggest possible challenge here: a very difficult song with more than 50 years of cultural baggage. This is probably why her people suggested she wait to attempt it! But as she does, she developed her approach from the ground up, and her genius was able to craft a performance that is utterly different from the original, but which can stand comfortably alongside the original. I have sought out reactions to this from Russian reactors (who would know better than I if she had fallen short of the mark) and they have universally praised Diana Ankudinova’s astonishing performance. I think it could well be her greatest achievement so far.

А они точно не поняли? Мне показалось, что вроде въехали. И субтитры были с русского на англ.текста песни.. Я, как бы понимаю, что в переводе смысл (глубокий!!) передать невозможно. Но хотелось бы надеется, что до парней дошло.

Notoriously difficult to sing even for very seasoned singers with decades of experience! As you already know, Diana doesn't just sing a song, she experiences all the emotions as if it were about herself. This was Vladimir Vysotsky's way of relating his own life experiences. Renowned for burning the candle at both ends AND in the middle, such was his life, wild and reckless! This song explains what it's like to continue a reckless life even when you know it's killing you, the thrashing of the horses even while trying to slow them down. Trying to buy more time while using it at a furious pace. It killed Vysotsky of course. I've known such people and I'm sure you guys have too? Понятно, что эту песню Высоцкого никто не сможет спеть так, как он!... У него Нерв без перерыва и с самонадрывом до беспощадности... У Дианы получилось прочувствовать и передать тот посыл... Но без саморазрушения, к счастью! Она берет паузы в песне ... Эмоциональные... И это здорово!) Нельзя так петь, как он, отдавая себя до саморазрушения без перерыва на одной надрывной ноте!!! My limited understanding is that Vysotsky was an alcoholic. This song is about his struggle with his illness and that despite knowing it was killing him he was unable to control the "ornery horses" of his nature/addiction. This song would have been extremely poignant for Diana as her mother, who abandoned Diana when she only three years old, struggled with the same illness. How she could sing this is beyond me. The pain in her voice has me in tears long before the end.

Horses in this case are years! Russians understand this right away, but foreigners do not always understand it because of translation errors.That is why the beauty of the Russian language is understood by those who begin to study it. The Russian language is very wise and carries deep knowledge of antiquity! After all, Russia is the heart of the earth! The soul of the planet is concentrated in Russia. for the evil of all the politicians of the world.

Эта беда, о которой пел Высоцкий (необходимость постоянно поить и подстёгивать своих "привередливых коней", несмотря на понимание смертельной опасности этих пристрастий), преследует людей искусства во всём мире независимо от их национальности. Смерть от передоза - не такое уж редкое явление в артистической среде.

Я бы не сказал , что Диана не смогла спеть эту песню , до неё все пели либо хуже автора , либо копировали , она спела по-своему , да , но не хуже ! А это уже очень высокое достижение . Лично мне больше понравилось её второе исполнение этой песни . Здесь она явно не смогла спеть последние строчки припева ,"постою на краю". Во второй интерпретации Диана прекрасно справилась с этой задачей .

При всей моей любви к Диане, я могу , имея музыкальное образование и опыт, трезво оценить возможности каждого певца.И Диане, пожелаю петь именно те песни, что в полной мере подчеркивают осоьенности именно ее голоса.

I strongly disagree with the quote that "Diana, unfortunately, could not really sing this song." In my opinion, Diana sang this song very well! Moreover, I believe that she sang it better than all other performers, with the exception of Vysotsky himself! And you don't need to pass off your personal opinion as the only true one! Я категорически не согласен с цитатой, что "Диана, к сожалению, не могла толком спеть эту песню." По моему мнению, Диана отлично спела эту песню! Мало того, я считаю, что она спела её лучше всех других исполнителей, за исключением самого Высоцкого! И не нужно своё личное мнение выдавать за единственное верное!

@@user-rk2xc6gs9m Не собираюсь спорить . Мнение есть мнение , даже если оно профессиональное . Исполнитель на концерте поёт для всех . На экзамене Ваше мнение несомненно звучит весомей .) Я считаю что никто не спел Лучше Высоцкого, а Диана спела не хуже, такое моё мнение . А Вы слышали вторую версию ? Было бы интересно узнать Ваше мнение, действительно. С наступающим 2022-ым !! И да, я не особо поклонник Дианы , хотя она впечатляет! Но ни одна из написанных для неё песен , меня не тронула . Очень жаль что она не может сама писать песни , было бы интересно послушать.
