The idea is that they don't know who they're dueting with until the last moment, until the curtain rises.

The performance was good, from the beginning. But once they were able to hear each other, and truly work together, it went to the stratosphere. The harmony, at the end, is gorgeous.

If you revisit Diana's "Can't help falling in love" you will see Julia being speechless, grabing her head in awe of Diana's voice. She was one of Diana's "oponents" in that show and in my opinion she was most definitely the second best after Diana, they remained good friends after that show. They made a special duet here, both magical and warm, imagine what would happen if they actualy trained on the piece, in Diana's case she heard the song only two times before she went and performed it. Crazy talents both of them.
