If love for the Motherland does not conflict with patriotic feelings, then this is absolutely wonderful. Diana's songs about the Motherland sound sincere and without officiousness. Kazakhstan is our neighbor, so some musical intersections are possible. Kazakhstan - dombra, and in Russia - domra, these are different tools.:)

Finally someone else who noticed this phenomenal song from Diana. The most beautiful song i heard for years. Diana's voice caresses your soul. It's a shame that so few people here in the west take notice of her. This should be in every top 10 lists around here, no matter if she sing's in russian. Anyway, i love her singing in russian, a i hope she will never change to english to get "global", like others did (e.g. Shakira, i loved her singing in spanish before she became a worldwide big star).

Old Russian musical instruments - gusli and horn - sound in this song. This creates the atmosphere of Russia, the continuity of generations and love for the Motherland.

Not many people in the West understand that under tons of fakes and lies produced by mass media there is a great and most beautiful country with most kind hearted people, who are very generous. They live, work, grow kids, do the same things as any other people in the world. And Diana tells these stories about such country. I hope you will at some stage have a chance to visit Russia.

Hi Fil))) There is a musical instrument (Kazakh folk) with the name Dombra, and there is a Slavic - Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian - with the name Domra. See how they look alike? Undoubtedly, they have common historical roots. They are similar in appearance and similar in sound, but there is still a difference. The instrument that sounds in the song is called Balalaika. Glad you are reviewing her again. I'm worried that she will be overlooked because of the political climate. Plus, honestly, she is very much pro-her-home-country. I made a new hyphenated word? No, her patriotism is in many of her songs, but so what? Her voice is superb. I loved her from the first time I heard her on the talent show. And wow did she sing so low... what an incredible range! Keep track of her Fable, please. You can bring some justice to her, because she is already falling out of the mainstream I suspect. Look up her videos on the web, and number of hits. Anyway, thanks.
