she is from another world. I've never heard anyone that can sing two voices at once and do it this well, without any digital effects other than reverb, delay, and compression in the mix...the rest is ALL her.

I think it's safe to say that Diana is the 8th wonder of the world. Because of how my life has been I don't have much to be thankful for(similar childhoods) but I am truly thankful that I've had the chance to experience this young ladies talent. I hope that one day I can see her perform live but I don't think that will ever happen.

I watched that entire program on Russian television. The "jury" consisted of ten artists. Diana was the last to perform. Each of the ten artists ranked the other nine from 1 (highest ranked) to 9 (lowest), with each ranking assigned points correspondingly from 9 to 1. In all, Diana received 72 points, while the next nearest competitor received 55 points. No one even comes close!

9 participants, 2 to 9 points, one of each, they won't vote for themselves. The 10th person is the guest, got 9 points, Yusef decided to distribute it evenly, 1 for every performer. Diana got 7x 9 points from the other singers, 1x 8 points, and guests 1, 72.

Yeah, the other participants are also winners of several Russian singing contest shows. So the overall quality of the competition is much higher than in usual singing contest shows. And still, Diana managed to visibly shock and mesmerize her competitors with this first performance.

Ah, many thanks for the detailed clarification. I already wondered why there were ten people in the jury but only nine who gave each other points. So one was a guest star. Well, now it all makes sense to me. So there are nine participants after all. Hmm, I can't help but in my opinion her second performance was even better than her first one. Diana improved some edges from her first performance that weren't absolutely perfect. The second performance was simply just absolutely perfect!

That last sound was Diana's polyphonic sound--something most singers are incapable of: singing two or more notes at once (!), in essence, singing one's own harmony.

It was an incredible performance! But what you said in the middle of the video is sad, but true. How many singers disappeared or went down a bad path (alcohol and other) after the show for children where they caught fame. This also happens with established artists. But by supporting good reactions like yours, where you say the right words, expressing our opinions too, we do everything possible so that nothing bad happens to Diana. Все эти реакционеры зарабатывают на просмотрах русских. Особенно зритель вндется на димаша и диану. Это просто бизнесмены-треплогоны. Они будут петь сладкие песни для нас ради просмотров и лайков, а Диана как была на задворках, так и осттанется. Заграницей она никому не нужна, а на родине сейчас другие в приоритете, типа бузовой и пр..
