the blueprint thing kinda makes sense, since you have no multiplier for your mult wheter you add numbers on the right or left side of the equation doesn't matter, chips and mult are basically the same, so the 90+ something from the castle is better than the 30 from the supernova, I haven't analyzed the entire situation though so I might be wrong for this specific case

Let's take the first hand in the last round, which was (if we discount the Castle's chips) 430x166. Adding the Castle's chips back, we get 534x166 which is 88'644, an increase of 104x166 (which is 17'264). If the Blueprint went for the Supernova's effect, we'd get 430x200 which is 86'000, and increase of 430x34 (which is 14'620). As you can see, it's pretty close, and if Supernova's effect were at least 41 instead of 34, it would've outperformed the Castle.

Because of the nature of multiplication, having a balance is as important as having a high value(why the plasma deck can consistently get to high antes). Having 1,000,001x1 is worse than 500,001x2. The shorthand for seeing what's better is thinking about additions as a multiplier. If you're playing a bog standard lv.1 straight (for the sake of the example, a 6-10), that scores 30(+40)x4, picking between a foil card, or a mult card. While +50 chips would be a significantly larger number, its only effectively a ~1.71x multiplier[(70+50)/70= 1.714....]. Meanwhile, +4 mult would effectively double the score since the base is so low[(4+4)/4=2]. The score with the foil vs. mult would be 480 vs. 560, respectively. This is also why xmult cards are better, cause they don't recieve these diminishing returns that +chips/mult has, a 2x mult will always be a 2x mult regardless of how high your mult(or chips) goes, whereas a +4 mult isn't as impactful when your mult is already at 1024.
