I just listened and it is AMAZING! I have been critical, in the past about some releases by Prince's estate, but this is the best yet!

This remastered super deluxe edition is truly the Ultimate in so many ways!! It completely highlights everything about the original one which was already Pure Heaven in itself, & turns it into Total Ultimacy!! Great thanks to the Prince Estates for this Pearl that is Precious in every way!! We so greatly miss Prince!! But, we will go on remembering, loving, & cherishing Prince for all eternity!! Who else thinks that some of the songs in the Super Deluxe Edition are better than some of the songs on the original album (which is great as it is)? I prefer Last Dance (Bang Pow) to The Jughead. And how Don't Say U Love Me wasn't included, I'll never know. It's a banger.

I must admit I wasn't very enthusiastic when they announced this SDE. I've just listened to the vault tacks and I'm well impressed. Thankfully I had barely any of these tracks on bootlegs, so the experience was even better. Great stuff - and I haven't even got to he live show yet! Only complaint is that the vinyl box set didn't come with the double sided poster as advertised. Apart from that, I am really pleased with this set. PR 40th Anniversary SDE (better than the 2017 please) next year?

His male/female tricks, Fooled me From the Start, He’d Sing/Scream so HIGH, then Drop down into a Split so Low, in Heels! Always Pushing between Hot Rock, Soul, Gospel, playing His Funky MUSIC!!! Always Making What will last Forever!!!….. always my favorite of them ALL…..so many GREAT Songs!!!🦇🦇🦇🦇
Not my favourite album, but it's linked to a funny memory of my teenage years. Around 14, I took modern dancing lessons, and my teacher used to let us warm up on cream. We even did a routine on.. Gett off. But, since it was in France, at the beginning of the 90's, few people were fluent enough in english to understand the lyrics, and no parent complained. But just imagine a bunch of girls, between 12 and 18, happily dancing on a song about 23 positions in a one night stand 😂. Adult me still wonders if the teacher chose it knowing the content just to have a laugh, or simply because she expecially liked the music. But I've ordered the whole box and regret nothing. I'll take the time to listen to it carefully, but I can already say that "Pain" is a jewel of a song. Instant "love at first hearing" for this one ❤

It is sad that Prince's sister is milking dollars from his album Diamonds and Pearls.
Just stop with the "remasters" and old live show money grabs. And most of the unreleased stuff you've released ranges from terrible to barely decent. He supposedly has 200 yrs worth of mind-blowing unreleased music in that vault. IF that is true, then focus on THAT and ONLY that. You've had SEVEN YEARS!!!!

@@robertburdis8438 I've been a REAL Prince fan since the 70's, kid. How many times have you seen him live? Prince didn't release most of that garbage because most of it objectively sucks. Some of it is barely decent/mediocre/passable. So again, where is the 200 yrs worth of stuff that will blow our minds?

The super deluxe have been great and yes they is probably loads of great stuff to be released they need to make money unfortunately and am sure we will get some that are great just release piano microphone already
