wonderful items Lily...love the plans you have for the lilies it really makes it more interesting once you start to play and create with the canvases...but your artwork of the couple with the dog will be the most special i think considering how much it means

Hi Lily! I do the same thing when i buy diamond paintings to see if they are copyrighted… Because of the looks of the diamond paintings i make my own diamond paintings from licensed free photo’s or my own pictures, or i pay for it. I don’t like colour blocking so the more colours the more the painting will look beautifull! With a app for cross stitching it is easy to do. A couple of years ago i bought one diamond painting and i love to colour, but i am also hooked to diamond paint as well!

I think I prefer the really bright, colourful ones too... they're so fun and cheerful! I think I am now hooked on Diamond Painting now too Linda! 🥰

Lovely haul Lily, it never occurred to me to change the diamonds, I think I may try that, thank you 😊 I can remember the string painting phase from the 70s but I had forgotten about it until you reminded me. The way that the diamonds come in the long packaging reminds me of sweets I used to get that came packaged the same way. Can you remember those? 😊

Thanks for sharing your haul, I love diamond piantings you showed, especially the flower mandala - so pretty and colourful. I'd love to see how you get on, especially with the larger sizes - I haven't ventured that far myself yet.

Ha ha ha I just watched your dec video saying you wasnt buying anymore diamond paintings 😂😅. I did so many in lockdown they were all compleated under my bed and vowed never again as its pointless just storing them. I bought ONE 30x40 the other day ready for when I have my big foot op and Im NOT buying anymore!!! THEN I decided to start it as its mountains in greys and muted pinks so now I will have to get another ONE ready for op, oh no!!!! You have now made me want more as Im struggling as ive got wet macular BUT you reminded me I have a light pad, oh no😂 whats a cover minder? Oh no lol

I'm so behind the curve with jumping into Diamond Painting! I really thought I'd never enjoy it (and I'm not into glittery / gem things!) Which is why I never tried it! What have I been missing all these years 😆 Hope you're doing OK Kylie 🥰

Great haul. I used to love diamond painting. I did many for my Mum, sister, Me and even my eldest sons girlfriend ( she likes dragons) I did her 3 A4 size she loved them. My Mum and sister loved theirs too, however when my Mum passed away I got the diamond paintings back apart from a couple which my sister had. Nowadays I dont feel like I have the patience to start doing them again. xx

Aww sorry to hear about your mum. I never thought I'd enjoy Diamond Painting because I thought it would test my patience and be too fiddly for me but I find it very relaxing, almost meditative! 🥰

So glad I found your channel!... we have such similar likes!... I recently completed the forest path through the trees one!... I have 2 of the same size trays from add more zest..and I have also got the couple and the dog canvas ! I live in the Midlands in the UK ❤

Hi night friend, I bought the green zest tray loving it too. Love that flower mandala never seen it, I do like some of the cheap flowery patterns ect. I am looking forward to getting my two kits from Oraloa (they are run by three people) kits are both about meditation as for the ones from Art club only looking forward to one but I do know why I bought the other now its about meditation too a wee bit! But like I told you already not making a habit of buying too many it will put me off the hobby. As for those long sticky pens I bought them last month was hoping to use them for normal use, (fail) I do have a cat one with Gems to do so will try using them for that.. Hope you get plenty rest keep warm love and hugs your night time friend lol .. can't say I have been good bought some new stitchy stuff 😉 will explain in one of our night chats xx

My DAC order came yesterday, going to open it today on camera, quite excited to see what its like! I only wanted 1 of those sticky pens, I'm sure I'll never use all 5!! Ooo new stitchy stuffs... Norty 😆

Nice selection of things here! I just bought some diamond storage but very tempted by that small box. Any ideas about how you’re going to store the big ones yet? That’s another thing holding me back from those?! Hope the dental surgery is healing well.

Good question and my hubs asked the same, saying "what are you going to do with the big ones, they won't fit your folder?". And, to be honest, I might actually put them on the wall! I guess it depends how they come out. The mandala one might look nice in the conservatory... the lilies on the stairs... but not sure yet!

I’ve decided that I don’t like the way diamond paintings look (even ones with great designs) enough to put them on my wall because I have very limited space, but I think your big ones would look great, it sounds like the lilies will be particularly effective! 😊

Yes, at the moment I've only done four 30x40 ones (which are on my instagram) but will make a video when I've done some more! 🥰

I tried those ppencils but they are awful. They dont work very well and leave a wax deposit on the drills. Alsofound you cant press down to make the drills stick without getting wax all over everything.

I love Add More Zest and Cat’s putty. I only bought my first putty last week and the difference it’s made is crazy! I also recommend Diamond Art Studio Uk for premium kits. I am waiting for a restock of a painting by Diamond Art Club and then I’ll be making an order from them myself. I can’t wait to see the Lilies completed - it’s going to look amazing! I have a few of the light pads and Rebecca from AMZ suggested getting the magnetic cables on one of her videos to save the connection point getting broken if the cable is accidentally pulled out. So I did and I doubt the light pad would have lasted 5 minutes without it! 😳 x

Ohh yes, it was Fruit Salad! Ooo haven't had them for years! Remember the taste though! 😋 I've had a look at Diamond Art Studio but not seen anything that pulled me in... yet 😆 Although I'm not going to buying anymore canvases until I've got through some, hubs says I have enough to last me to Christmas at the speed I go... and he's right! I saw Rebecca's video about the cable, might look into it, mine has been holding up OK so far! Happy Diamond Painting Bev 🥰
