I remember when Diamond first broke onto the car audio scene. Their older lines were far superior to the JL stuff (in my opinion). Bob Diamond was a genius. Like your takes on all the equipment you show and the perspective you bring to all your videos. Keep up the great work!!!!

Yeah I remember ol Diamond since the get go too. Great quality is what I remember about them. I was torn on what to go with for this build for my highs and mids amp. I went with a Kicker IQ500.4 which has the kicker intelligent interface for their TWEEQ DSP. A Kicker amp with a built in dsp... yeah I wanted to try that out. I love kicker amps for highs/mids. I have a long history with them. Always been amazing amps and never have had any issues with any of them I've owned since 97... but... I've never tried an amp with these features and dunno if in the end it'll be a pain or really awesome. We shall seeeee soon lol

Cool, I just picked up an IQ 1000.5 and a Key 180.4. I'm also curious about Kickers DSP technologies.

@JasonWW2000 nice!! Yeah they were made years ago and they're amazing from what I've heard. I did also just order the IQI interface for the IQ amps. It allows you to connect up to 4 of them to it and then you can Bluetooth to the amp and access kickers tweeq app on your phone or laptop and you have full access to the dsp. It's pretty dang ingenious of kicker!

@JasonWW2000 without the IQI you have to use a cable from the amp to a laptop yes. With the IQI you just hit the Bluetooth button on the IQI and it syncs with your amp and then you Bluetooth from your phone or laptop

Thought I'd mention... the IQI does have a cable that you have to connect to your IQ. Then you have Bluetooth capability.

Sound stream Rubicon nano1400.4 class d. 4channel Iyoud ike it than all hook up n controlled onthe far side like that one. Doesn't heat up makes it rated power and is a Korean made amp.. hundred and fifty bucks I'm gonna buy it here soon.

yea that looks like a good lil amp, DB Drive has some similar in size, prices vary. I DO know the Mini Amps from DB Drive, sound great!

Amazon had it for like five hundred something. Damn bit too steep for me just for mids n highs

Have you had any experience with ARC audio? Currently looking at a 2-channel that is on sale. It is the FD2200. It was a a (Foose Design) made amplifier made for Chip Foose around 10 years ago. I like ARC audio but not familiar with this amp. Diamond is a nice company as well and JL.
