It trended so much in Nigeria, was number one at some point on the chart's. Nigerians' recognised Diamond Platinum for the superstar that he is. Very hard working dude. Good music but this "globalization of beauty" is getting worst. We( Africans) are victims of an ideological and cultural hegemony. The media's role in the construction of Blackness is questionable and problematic. You need to be light-skinned, have a straight hair and must be size zero in order to appear on TV.
