When lamda = -1 then the eigen vectors will be [2,-1,1] not [-2,1,1]

If the Eigen vectors are same then the Eigen values are not distinct i they are linearity dependent and so the corresponding matrix is not diagonalizable at all

Hello sir, please answer🙏. How will we know that on which place of diagonal we will put particular eigen value. For example u have placed -1 at a22. How I will know that I have to put it at a22 not at a11 or a33.

Order as in jo lambda 1,2,3 ki position hai in matrix D vo pata karne ke liye we will find P-1 A P. So we will get D accordingly

2nd column 3rd row it should be (-1) ... N if it is 1 then it's determinant will b zero...😅 Because of two same columns..
