Love the hard drive magnets on the handle. I loop bright paracord through mine as lanyards which work great for fishing dropped hardware out of tight spots.

Love the bender and you are a good storyteller. Sounds like the seller was too nice for his own good.

Pins break! Be careful. A coworker fell hard on his back and shoulder today at work, nearly cracked his head on a nearby vice.

That's why instead of pulling hard I use a cheater pipe which also gives greater control and is easier on the body (mine's old!). When bending anything leverage makes life easier and avoids having to heave. For thick steel I heat at the bend with an oxy-acetylene or oxy-LP torch. See blacksmithing videos for color chart.

Yep, key is to have your body center of mass 90°to the work and feet firmly planted. Do the pulling with just your upper body.. Just like when you're pushing work through a vertical band saw..always use pressure from your wrist forward so you never have your body weight into it if something gives unexpectedly..I saw lots of things and will do a video on proper technique for metal sawing soon. TY, Chuck

@@wildcatmachineworkschas5322 Proper technique is often taught, but rarely reinforced. You are absolutely correct.
