Au idea, bam- Maybe instead of dying at the end, Rachel was taken by a man who needed a replacement daughter to avoid giving away his real daughter(aka Yui’s father) and since she lost her memories he swapped their names, Rachel became Yui and because of the lack of memories/sheltered ‘childhood’ from her new father she grew timid and scared.

What if that building is the mansion of the vampires and although she lost her memories, as the days past and as she becomes more insane each day, she also regains her past memories. In which, when she completely lost herself because of the brothers, she sees zack on the window, and then she remembers everything and joins zack in the afterlife where they can suffer together😊.
