With these facilities, they probably found out every short coming before the car is launch. The only problem is, they did not fix it before the car is launch. VW owner convinced by this video.

I'm a VW long term car owner and can say they build them very strong and long lasting. No cars are perfect, even German cars but from experience, I definitely recommend VWs for someone who's looking for high quality built vehicles.

That may be true for the older cars but the quality of german cars isn´t what it used to be. The Japanese and Korean cars have been catching up over the last decade and will or already did surpass the Germans in pretty much every way. It´s inevitable. That´s what happens when you think you´re the best anyway and get lazy...

Yes this is very important. Please test and make a video for suspension after loading full passengers and luggage in a car.
They are making sure that it is reliable... that it reliably breaks the moment the warranty is up.

Tive um Golf desse modelo ,realmente a suspensão dele é muito boa ,dura muito ,mas quando quebra algo ai sim o buraco é mais embaixo ,por isso todo cuidado na hora de comprar um usado principalmente quanto ao DSG,o meu era manual então de boa quanto a isso.

Veľmi zaujímavé a naozaj precízne testy. Človek by si myslel, že to je dôkaz kvality. Avšak žijeme v kapitalizme a účelom je predávať čo najviac. Teda tieto testy im veľmi presne zistia ako dlho jednotlivé súčiastky vydržia a teda podľa toho vedia naplánovať ich "polčas rozpadu". Aby sa to nerozpadlo príliš skoro, ale zas ani aby to nevydržalo večne bez servisu. Teda tým chcem povedať, že určite nerobia súčiastky najkvalitnejšie ako by to bolo možné :)

Exactly, All German car manufacturers thinks this way. They make cars with the definite idea that owners will always provide proper service. That's why their cars last really long if they are serviced timely or it's hell lol! While Japanese manufacturers make cars which do not need much care but again, they are inferior when compared to German cars.

Por isso que muitas fábricas testam seus produtos no Brasil antes de lançar na Europa. Lembro da Alfa Giulietta testada por cá, mas nunca foi vendida oficialmente aqui.

I wanna see the test where the VAG product stands up to cold and moisture without icing all its windows and doors shut then descending into an electrical hissy fit of warning lights and general malfunction. Never seen that test.

The people and work spaces at Volkswagen look so much cleaner and put together then the mercedes factory
Vw cars are one big warning light. Very soon they will feature complete plastic engines and gearboxes
This why I buy VW - top of the range - my new VW TSI Polo drives like a dream with DSG gearbox. Truly superb.

@@izoyt VW once had a CEO, a man named Dr Ferdinand Karl Piëch...at a time when VW was plagued by horrible quality issues; much worse than now. He told the divisional heads - if he measures the tolerances between panels across the car, all should measure 3,5mm. One larger than 4mm or smaller than 3mm, he (Piëch) finds unacceptable. Engineers told him it couldn't be done... He told them - "If other companies can do it, why can't we? If you can't do the job right the first time with superb quality...then get out". Not long after that attitude change at VW - and they produced their most prestigious car (from within VW) to date yet...the Phaetom - a car that could rival Bentley and Rolls-Royce. People nowadays have become so accustomed to low-grade quality...and they merely accept it. Take it as it is... If you're one of them, great for you. Luckily, I'm not.

VW sucks.....
I think they forgot to factor in the weight of a fully loaded car with passengers, full trunk and maybe even towing going uphill 😆 We made it through the trip, but our car had some Transmission problems (possibly electric not sure). For the most part though, these hatchys are pretty strong whereas other cars would whine and limp

All that testing and yet every Passat I have been in has worse suspension than the average Škoda Octavia. I'm not sure how they manage to do that.

Have never had any problems with that, in the 3 Golf I have had.
Volkswagen needs to focus on their sunroof shades and roof drains. 300.00 dollars every two years to clean the drains and dry out your flooded car, and 600.00 dollars plus installation to put in a new sun shade.!

Thats the reason behind VW quality.
Considering how many silly issues that Volkswagens face, seeing how much rigorous testing is done is only humiliating for owners to see, as the manufacturer must surely know before release.

what issues? as a owner one of this cars, and knowing/owning/driving basically all major brands out there, i feel just fine. even better, i feel very good or much better than with some majority of other brands.

@@MiguelGarcia-vj7oo yes and no. At first I said to myself "thats right" This "Miguel" is right. But then I thought for a few seconds. First of all nothing is free. Everything costs something. You have materials costs. Machinery costs. Engineering costs. Vendor costs. Transport costs. Taxes possibly. Time constraints. Less time means more cost. And thats just one factor. Then you have the factor that somebody assessed the niche market and what total price the car must be to be competitive. Remember or listen: There are hundreds and thousands of parts on a car. So its not just a question of the manufacturer trying to make the parts break sooner. Its more like knowing what they can fulfill the mission with as a new car and a 5-6 year lifespan. They don't spend that much time lifecycling for 20 year vehicle in Germany at least. Knowing people will still buy them does not help much either! Inevitably the engineers do think and discuss things and they are not selling you a cake with icing. It will not crumble on first drive.
After all those test they know exactly when parts will fail, take door hinges or window elevator for example so they can place cheap parts that will last for specific amounts of time or cycle count, welcome to 21century ladies and gents

Será que isso é verdade(para todos) ? no minimo fazer esse teste com um numero considerado de carros e com no minimo uns 300 a 500 mil km, por carros estão cada vez mais com problemas de recall, fora outros que não querem asumir B.O.
