I was on the fence about the whole concept of mutations, but once I found out there’s mutations you can unlock by doing certain things, I became more of a fan of them. The saltwater mutation for crocodiles is pretty cool. And the cannibal mutation for species that aren’t normally able to cannibalize, I’d love to be able to eat the corpses of my fallen raptor comrades. I hope they add T Rex or Allosaurus soon. A big carnivore in the mix would add a lot of excitement, I prefer playing as small carnivores, but I’d love to have to worry about running into a Rex or allo.

Its ok.. every new Dino is being our "Favorite" for a couple of months and then fades away

My headcanon for one everyone plays as a new species is when the replicator makes a new animal, it pumps out a 1000 of them and over time, things stabilize

@@xuncledaddy4377ignore the comment above me, its a quiet literal spar but in game, it can have you ded or you can have the opponent dead. Its rough right now, very much, but its promising and its going to work for all ceratopsians

Sadly this was before sparring came to hordetest, but a glorious video it was.

0:39 Seems kind of ridiculous to me that a Diabloceratops, of all things, can't ram a tree and knock things down - or just bulldoze the entire thing like an elephant. It seems like bad game design that you can't eat part of your diet because you're unable to reach it without a pachy, unless they're trying to encourage a symbyotic relationship, but again we're talking about a one ton animal versus a glorified bush. Kind of breaks the immersion for me personally. The trunk isn't anywhere near thicker than the body!!! It would also be really cool to see the ways different animals get tree food - hypsies jump or climb, gallis reach up with their long neck, pachys ram them loose and anything with enough weight like a diablo just knocks it down. But either way it's always fun to see a new animal added! Dibble brings awesome mechanics and I can't wait to see them released >:)

I love diablo a lot too, definitely the most fun looking herbivore for a solo player. But what really tickles my pickle is the mutations. I want to make the most capable seafaring deinosuchus possible and be a coastal threat unexpected and also bring the same survival oriented aspect to pteranodon too.

Very cool dinosaur/playable and certainly one of the OGs in the game. I played it myself and it’s way more fun than teno at fg. At other growth stages it’s not that fun but fg makes up for it. This is coming from a teno main btw.

I was playing cera and i was 70% growth and i had a friend that was 100% we fought full grown diablo and it killed me there really tanky and do tons of dmage

Diablo from outsiders perspective(everything not diablo because I don't want to do a rat race and I want dibbles to have fun getting mad at me or something, a necessary villain of sorts) is giving stego players mobility and speed, making the stego issure way way worse, instead of defensive body guards, now they can chase you and maul you easily, along with any little buddies mixing with them... Otherwise, I bet playing AS the dibble is super fun! Sparring, not being worried about dying, etc.

If you skid properly you can decimate a couple of raptors pretty efficiently. Terrain usage is also good for dibble

The isle has the worst walking and running animations in the industry

i find its so unfair for dibble be able to knock down things by stepping one cm back and forward using sparinc mechanic, while you should hold for about 4-5 sec and blow half of your stamina as a carno to do so. That what they call banance!?

No we didnt need it at all, carno is now competely wasted, they might as well remove it now

Why would carno be completely wasted? It can knock dibble down because of it’s lower weight and you just have to be careful to not get stunned. What’s your point here?

@@PaleoArchives my point is why does carno need to charge from hundreds of meters to have a slight chance of knocking down while teno and dibble stun them or knock them down right away even tho carno is so much faster and a lot heavier and they are lighter and slow And good luck trying to knock a dibble down , even if u do u get 300 damage in max 💀 dibble just needs to headbutt u once in order to stun and therefor deal twice as much 💀
