The pet pickup implementation is very well executed, but yeah it would be awesome if the game had a loot filter and the pets could pick up the items that you have filtered.

ive been complaining about this since the beginning of this season and they keep saying its me and my computer all 4 of them are the issue and its not them or their servers. yet wow runs just fine. and every single other games and activities i do on my cpus. so that means we yet again we need enough people to complain before they acknowledge and address this issue

Bossmats should not end up in the inventory. And should be picked up by the pets in the future.

Aw, a cute little pup as a pet... So much for "embrace the darkness." I'm cool with pets. They've been a great addition to the genre since Torchligh 1 in 2009. What I'm not cool is with, much like Diablo 3, pets (and cosmetics, like wings) breaking the theme of the game. Yeah it's cute. Diablo should not be cute.

@@4F6D Well, yes! It's so easy for them to add some sort of cute cosmetic every season. Before you know it, half the map is filled with unicorns and baby mephisto and shinning wings. After Diablo 3 the whole core philosophy of Diablo 4 was "return to Darkness". Pets are fine, but why did it had to be a puppy?

Why won’t they fix the party pit drops? It makes no sense to scale the monsters way harder if we do pits in a party and then the party members only get half of the drop!?

New Feature? No, pretty sure this existed for some demonhunter pets in d3 and later on all classes. And pretty sure some hobby d2 modders did something like that too. But yeah totally new feature. innovative³³

Pets need to be tweaked a bit. They don't gather everything. They pick up Ashes in Helltides but don't pick up souls from enemis for Tree quests, for example. They also don't pick up Elixirs.

I hope you expand on what the pet can do, I would love it if it could auto salvage blues/yellows, pick up Animus (or just remove it, change the objective to kill the elites), pick up the seasonal stuff like the potions, loot uber boss items etc. Basically anything that forces you to slow down, because that's not fun and not why anyone plays an aRPG.
