It would be great if game developers would start showing estimations on how much each setting affect performance.

I just want to say two things: I come to your channel now for every game on PC I download basically, because I love the way you explain the choices between each setting based on performance and what you deem is important and not. Secondly I love your English speaking, you have a very heavy accent but it is really satisfying and easy to listen to. Again, thank you for your amazing videos!

That is the best video I've seen it terms of priorities, in configuring the Diablo 4 graph settings. I've managed to get up to 68-72 fps at 1440p while using 1650 super (starting with only 39 fps at Default High preset before the optimization). Thank you so much for all your time spent and Knowledge shared.

Subbed, you explained better than Digital Foundry's comparisons. I have a decent PC, 12900k@5.1 allcore, 32GB ram and a RX6900XT yet I set the texture to high and vsynced on a 75Hz monitor. PC is very quiet and cool, the vga fans didn't even bother to spin. I can definitely run everything maxed out, ultra but it still introduces small stutterings in heat actions, which might cost my char dead. Not only VRAM but the real problem is the amount of loaded RAM in Ultra texture is just fking ridiculous, over 20GB! So, whatever your rig is, set your texture quality to High because you wont see any differences when playing and its buttery smooth, no stutter, quieter PC and a less electricity bill lol.

Thanks for the video. I'm very surprised that Particles Quality doesn't really have an impact on performance, as that is usually the biggest one in games. They must have done a good job optimizing that.

Thx for your work! Very helpfu! On the stuttering issue: there are multiple "fixes" out there, one was mentioned in the video. What made the most difference for me was changing the shader cache setting in the nvidia control panel. Some people could fix it with disabling browser hardware acceleration in the blizzard launcher.

Thank you a lot for this video! some settings make game worse such as Anisotrophic Filtering make game blur lost details. With me never stick on Nvidia DLSS it makes game blur, lost details as well.

Did they change a bunch of settings or something, or do the different countries have different settings? Some of these settings dont even exist in my game. Now that more people a playing again with the new season, and there have been optimization changes and patches, and ray tracing added. Any chance of an update on this video?

This video is the masterpiece of the config for this game, I have and GTX1650 and with this config and FSR on balanced, also I use dynamic and soft shadows off, 1080p monitor 75hz and the game looks amazing at 75fps with no drops

hey have you an idea why my fps dropping slowly from 120 to 60? it takes like 1-2 hours . When I restart the game its back to 120. Has this something to do with the "memory leak" of the game everyone is talking about? ryzen 7 6800h, 3070ti notebook

Yeah the game is slowly eating up all of your RAM and VRAM. a small fix is switching back and forth between texture settings, but a game restart is best.

cheers mate, I'm running a low end pc and was struggling with performance. Never had the need to upgrade but this game is a hungry game, lol. most of my settings are on low, lol. unfortunately some of my clan or on other platforms so gotta keep the crossplay.

(5:18 min.) What does this SSOA do exactly? ahhhh ok it makes shadows in corners, so I set it to middle. (7:21 min.) You can see the raindrops crealer, but at the Waterfall I don't see any visual downgrade.

anyone here encountered this problem? FPS locks at 64 i'm using AMD GPU and vertical sync is off

*I started playing in the first wave of beta testing. I only have an RTX 3080. I just maxed all the settings at 4K. It runs with consistant max FPS for my monitor. It looks great too. BUT!!! If you zoom in, a lot of the graphics are low detail in the game because the game is not meant to be played zoomed in.*

For the DLSS setting, should I have it on balanced, performance or ultra performance?

Keep it at Quality and if you're playing at 4K balance or even performance will look good.

those graphs look like MSI afterburner. It's free software for both AMD and NVIDIA.

Following this video I dropped the temp of my laptop from 84°C to 70°C. I don't know what option was, but it worked great
