Donan Really enjoyed your series on this campaign. I just have to watch that really long video of yours complete story explained. But you knocked it out of the park and looking for your seasons of malignant dlc breakdown when it goes live.

Neyrel is like a ceo did none of the work says says people have died bc she wasnt careful enough they died bc you stood by as we eradicated all the demons and didnt want to be left alone when she lost her arm immediately abandoned the crew after we did more work just peachy.

Ive been watching since day 1 of ur series. Lol it helps alot since i skipped most of the dialog

I have been playing Diablo since the first one can't wait to start playing

Donan really enjoyed this series and the story of this game

they written the hints in the chanting 'By three they come. By three, thy way opens' the game has always been about Diablo, 1st comes Hatred followed by Destruction when the dust settled, eternal Terror shall reign over the earth.

Hmm mephisto started our journey by killing our horse and he ended it by letting himself being imprisoned once again in soul stone. All worked just as he wanted

Donan. Well at least to me the story feel weak. only Mephisto got more protagonism than his brothers. not sure what Lilith wanted to do with Sanctuary. no matter what we do in all the Diablo games the world never improves only goes worse (well same as Path of Exile) but i think it will get more interesting as the new content comes out. what bothers of D4 is the fact they jumped "50 years?" (not sure if the number is correct) in the future so no mentions of the characters of D3 just the places of D1 and D2.

Thought the ending was too expected like wouldn't it be a big plot twist if Mephisto was behind everything. Mephisto corrupted Elias and conviced him to summon Lilith & encouraged her to return to hell in the thought that Mephisto was weakened. But in actuality Mephisto was stronger and attempt to absorbs Liliths power. Finally its up to the character to decide who is a greater threat to sanctuary.

Maybe I'm dumb but I'm still not sure why we didn't side with Lilith. I think I just missed a piece of lore somewhere, but isn't her goal to end mephisto and help protect sanctuary from the eternal conflict?

In Act 5 it''s implied that Lilith is pretending to care about Sanctuary as a ploy to have people within Sanctuary and Elias follow her in her battle against the Prime Evils. Her real goal is to simply take over the power of Mephisto and rule Hell herself. Not entirely convinced personally that she would be worse than having Mephisto, but yeah... She doesn't care to protect Sanctuary, she just wants to claim the power for herself and be the one on top when the Eternal Conflict ends.

@@GreenLinksYT hey thanks for the info. I know I had to of missed something, and even though I played D2 and d3 I never really paid attention to lore. Definitely when I killed Lilith at the end I felt like I was making the wrong decision, but I couldn't really figure out why.

if you want my opinion, they should've left Prava in hell, cause she's still blinded by Inarius's lies and whatnot, she oughta know that the Horadrum had been protecting humanity for generations, how dare she call them heretics.

If Lilith takes the essence of Mephisto, then sanctuary is lost. So they decided to helped Mephisto instead, who is a much bigger threat to sanctuary and has no qualms about destroying everything and everyone. Unlike Lilith, who's a bit more loving towards Sanctuary as her creation, of course, and less powerful than her father. It would have been smarter to bet on the side of Lilith to finally have an end over the eternal conflict. Either way sanctuary is all but fcked. Its fate is always reliant on the Nephalems; how long until a Nephalem becomes corrupted and becomes the greatest evil to behold with powers impossible to defeat because they're so much more powerful than angels and demons as they're both of each. Lilith's rulership would be much more care free compared to the Great Evils, a corrupted angel like Imperious or an evil Nephalem.

the story is certainly the main point in me not buying the game tbh
