I was exploring the pvp zone last night for the first time at lvl 51 and some 72 kept waiting until I'd fight a mob or the world boss and jump in and kill me. It was annoying.

Just a note, I found like 4-6 treasure goblins in this zone in about an hour yesterday. Got my 2nd and 3rd legendaries from them. So far this zone seems basically uncontested and actually has decent rewards.

Everytime I go in, I'm so busy fighting monsters I can't even tell there's someone there lol. I'm constantly getting instakilled before I can even start attacking other players. Not sure if level counts, but if it does, I keep getting stomped by people 40 lvls higher than me😅

What you said about being able to just PVE isn’t really true. A marked player can still attack you even if you haven’t marked.

I would actually argue now is the time to get the pvp cosmetics as we are in season 0, most people don't go hard in end game builds until a season starts therefore won't want to waste their time then getting the skins.

Players can attack you in PVP zones regardless if you flag "marked for blood" or not

if both are not "marked" you will not be able to fight, I think if 1 is marked and 1 is not, you can still pvp

You get marked as some sorta bad guy that builds up to 100. At 100 you are shown to the world and anyone can hunt you down in that area. It was said somewhere that there is special bonuses for being marked this way but not sure what that means. No other currency for killing people, although after killing 4 people I did find 1 ear in my inventory. Not sure why I did t get an ear for each different person I killed.

​@fbu you hit 100 and u get a 5 min buff that also gets u more shards from killing mobs that don't drop. Just kinda add to ur total. You also can't turn in at any alter. After the 5 mins is over u lose the buff and all the shards get cleansed automatically

Slaydra your wrong about one part, You can be unmarked for PVP and if someone is marked they can kill you. Go test it for yourself rn, happened to me while I was afk.

Can you defend against someone who is marked for pvp if you aren't marked too? I got attacked by a Barbarian who was 12 levels higher than me. He killed me obviously lol. But it didn't look like I could hurt him, even with my ultimate.

i have had a question, do you lose personal items if you die?

No, you only lose any seeds you were carrying

No it's rogues and barbarians are untouchable in pvp. Rogues can go invisible and one shot you, barbarians just whirl. But doesn't matter anyway because it's populated by speedhackers and pc cheaters...

You don't have to flag up to get seeds, but not being flagged won't stop people slapping you

I had 13,000 seeds and my ps4 froze when going to alter 😡

Players that are flagged for PvP get a Red Circle around them, Yes? If you AoE near them and hit them, do you get flagged? I've been in the Fields of Hatred, not Flagged and have been attacked by Players. So how does it actually work?

I just ran into the zone and got ganked by a player didn’t have pvp on

fyi ive been killed by players when in a pvp zone without marking myself for blood. just ran thro them for exploration progress and couldnt do it because i kept getting killed.

they probably marked themselves. even in you aren't marked yourself, other marked players can getcha

Probably not alot of people trying to pvp during pre order. You will start seeing alot more people this week as they gain levels and feel confident pvping. I hope so anyway, I bought this game just to pvp like the good ol d2 days.

I tried it tonight and didn't mark myself, got absolutely hammered by two players. Guess I won't be doing pvp again, I'm a solo player. That might be why, just going to be sweaty players so why bother with it.

so I was fighting some mobs, hadn't flagged myself, and got attacked by another player. Luckily he sucked and I was able to kill him, but do your aoe's hit players when you arent flagged? This has happened a few times. Another player in the room with me was just killed by players and she was not flagged.

After Nerfs 😢🤣 yet they aren't fixing the bugs out like some of exploits I noticed.

If you don't turn on pvp and someone else does they you can still get pvp'ed

Diablo has the douchiest pvp in the history of pvp

On PS4 nobody is even in pvp areas. Been playing it for two days and haven't seen another player at all. XP is decent and inventory gets filled with loot within 10 minutes or less. Would be the best part of the game except everyone on console seems to be too scared to play PvP. Very sad...

pvp is incredibly unbalanced. Players will literally 1 shot you off the screen. Me and a couple friends went in to see how it was and a player instantly 1 shot all 3 of us and took all our seeds. There was literally no time to react

Absolute bad take on the mounts. You can get red dust super easy, and get mount cosmetics (even the 100k one) in less than an hour. Or you can gamble your heart away and be left with nothing.

when it comes to pvp it's 2/10 for me. Character Balance is bad (Rogue compare to a Barbarian that deals 10m-15m dmg with normal hit "Hammer of Ancient" - for example) These lags when you attack many monsters at the same time (Only in Pvp). When 3-4 people can join in a praty and just Brutally kill you because they're a Group.

Rewarded for nerds to over level and get more stats. Needs to be level capped.

PVP is so stupid I am level 60 maxed out gear and I have a very good ice build I can one tap mostly everything in T3 and I was getting one shotted by a dude's basic wand attack in pvp. Lol yeah PVP is broke.

Every rogue running the same meta build in pvp is cringe tho. Was hoping meta builds wouldn't be this pronounced in d4.

PVP sucks, ran into a duo of sorcerers that just stun locked and froze till they killed you, they were both had the hatred mark active and was waiting outside the entrance cause they know how op they were.

Play the same game your entire life, that's probably older than you at this point, you do you buddy..

pvp is fun but lame everyone is immune everyone perma cc's and everyone has godlike barriers or everyone just one taps you its hit or miss its kindof lame most the time

I seem to only encounter people that take advantage of the near perma daze now. it's hard to have fun in PvP if the only way to ensure victory is whoever stunlocks first. the first few days were good, genuine fights over skill, now it's just a dead zone for me. I can't enjoy it.

There is no true fun in pvp in this game. It's lame. We can't even do arena's or some type of battle grounds to actually have a reason to really wanna spend time gearing up and playing. The older I get just killing random mobs and bosses over and over gets really old. Pvp is just ridiculously stupid in this game. You just kill random players without them knowing what's going on

this game is a joke

Only one person has to be marked for pvp to be able to fight you. So if you mark myself you can attack everyone all the time and vice versa

I just leave people alone let them do their farm and go do mine, we all want the stuff i even help them out sometimes and leave them their chest, it’s not always picking on low lvl players, pick on someone your lvl and get shat on… losers!
