Here is a site to test out maxroll.gg/d4/planner/ Keep in mind master working isn't always going to give you a +to stat or number, giving you a fake "upgrade" giving you literally nothing The game is supposed to go +5% each time, then +25% on a Masterwork crit at 4,8,12, except when its a Greater affix it gives you less... BUT things like dodge don't follow the rules of inverse multiplicative, if there are any other strange ones, let me know :) Hoping they can fix this in season 5

My understanding with greater affixes is the masterwork percentage increase is applied to the BASE stat, not the boosted greater affix number. For example, the max intelligence possible on an item is 90 but if it's a GA, the stat is 135 (90x1.5). If the masterwork bonus hits the intelligence stat, you get 95 on the non-GA item (90x1.05=94.5). However, on the GA item, you don't get 142 (135x1.05=141.75). Instead, the extra 5% is only applied to the base stat of 90, so you get 140 (135+4.5=139.5).

I am not worrying about that. I believe my season will be over when I masterwork every piece of my equipments to level 12.

So you're saying aside the diminishing returns in stats, an good example would be- 100 % dodge stat does not exactly mean dodging 100%?

So while listening to this I have this question: what if I hit 100% dodge (which btw is really possible) mobs can't hit me and I'm immortal?😂 Or this is again more complicated than it should be😅

Some effects like ground aoe pools cant be dodged but if your builds decent your more or less immortal. Barb can hit 800k hp wich is also kind of immortal and sorcerrer has infinite flameshield

It's not broken. The 25 percent always goes to the base value, not the greater affix number. This is for everything in the game. Stop lying to people and saying it's broken.

Yeah, it's not broken but it's a feature that should be clearly documented to avoid confusion. Then again, I guess that applies to pretty much every fucking thing in D4. 😆
