@@ConradSly Totally agree. I'm glad there's footage of them right now. I want D2R to be amazing in every way. Hopefully with a bit more polish they can really make these skills pop. I love how Molten Boulder and Volcano were done. Hopefully Fissure can get the same love.

I think the reason why we did not see any fissure or hole in the ground is because D2R is render in 3D, so deforming the mesh of the ground by making hole in it is more difficult than to simply create a 2D sprite over the 2D background in the original D2. I’ve worked a bit with 3d models and 2d sprites in some game engine and thats what i think but i might also be wrong

I think the druid skills are even more nice to look than the Sorceress ones. Wind and fire overall look the most cool! Ice is ok but I still do not like elctric ones - though I must admit they might be the hardest to design.

I hope they change the werewolf's face. It now looks more like that of a rat or a hyena. The original looked more like a wolf.

Is it just me or does the werewolf look like he's been homeless for quite a while and caught mange in the dog pound?

Wtf Druid always been my favorite when he came with dlc because you can play a buff bear . Not a hairy fat bear , give my bear a 6 pack , jacked shoulders and arms again . Was super excited for this but I think I’ll wait now . Played D2 to death so seeing my main being destroyed visually sucks

I think bear looks great, werewolf needs some more coloring or something.

Really wish you attacked something to show the melee attacks. Rabies and Feral rage would have been nice to see the animations.

i think it has something to do with the grass texture. if you look at the vines it is difficult to see them moving around.

Did they mention if we can have all skills max? Or still limited? I remember before there's a character editor to get everything.

I cant wait to play my rabies build...love the Druid.

Armageddon and Hurricane animations need more work (they lack the "Oomph" behind them. One needs "quantity+faster" meteors and the other needs to be a "denser" wind with leaves).

Arm seems to be the only AoE Skill that didnt '' look '' like its aoe got bigger. Sad because it hits like a truck

Most of the skills seemed better than the original but I think fissure needs work, seem more like red steam clouds instead of holes in the earth with fire coming out.

Everything looks amazing except arctic blast, shockwave and fissure, which will probably be worked on.

Why the Hurricane is still some circling wind where it's attribute is ice 🤨, the devs should add more details into it and make it more like a blizzard rather than some flowing wind ☝️.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I seem to remeber the original D2 had also various versions of the Warebear?... like one with armor and a bloody one?.. can't remember exactly tbh.. In either case I'm very excited for this release... The devs show that they really love the original material, so I'm sure they must be somewhere in the game :) Can't wait to replay my childhood years. :D

Nope there was only one version of the shapeshift forms. Maybe you are thinking about the Necromancer summoned unit Golem? there is one with armor, one made of blood, one of Clay and a Fire one :)

Shockwave bear is op in pvm. Would be super good, but druids in SS form still dont get to tele with enigma. Dumb.

That Artic Blast looks disappointing....I remember a random player hostiles me and Artic Blasts me right in the face right before I chop him to bits, lol good times!

Arctic blast seems a little weak visually but its not like anyone ever uses the skill anyways so its all good.

I've played D2 countless times, but I haven't been looking forward to any game this much, basically since Cyberpunk.

They should change werewolf and werebear as well as arctic blast in order to make the game more similar to the original

Fissure is just bugged. It looked fine in the trailer.

Artic Blast and Fissure looks weak (they need to improve cold skills in general not just Artic Blast). And werebear lost his humanoid like form, now it look just like a regular bear standing in two feet. I'm not a fan of werebear builds so I don't care that much. But if they want to achieve something close to perfection they should improve those minor details

Alpha client was cracked, and it allowed people to play all the classes - problem is there was a reason they were not in the alpha ^_^

much better than D4 druid. Honestly, new games only care about graphics with terrible perfomance and zero gameplay

Man... the bear and wolf form was one of the main thing I was super excited about with the remaster and they loook... terrrrible... bummer man. I hope they do more work on it. The bear looks like a balding gorilla. So disappointed. The fire claws Druid was my main. Might have to go fury as wolf form looks better but still... needs work, I get the whole feral side of it but it just don’t look right. The heads need to be bigger or something

This is weird coz in the trailer I remember the bear form looking better but you only see a small glimpse of it

ok id like some changes please *hurricane is nearly perfect a couple things I don't like about it. 1. the hurricane does cold damage as well so maybe add some storm like features that resemble cold with this already perfect physical storm you all have developed. 2. I know the eye doesn't stay centered with the druid in original but I always felt it should as it looks so strange when you move with the character. I always thought that the tech wasn't there back then to make storm stay centered in the original so if this could be changed I'm all for it maybe a vote pull on this one? *wolves omg they look terrible 1. the DIRE WOLVES look really washed out! super low res!! and why are they so small and non threatening looking? make them bigger!!!! make them look like they're ready to kill!! blood thirsty is what the summoner needs! 2. the spirit wolves needs the same change as above but make them look like spirts see through ghost like maybe even bluish * the BEAR come on that thing looks like something you would walk up to and feed it your pp&j ugh where is the threatening look! these summons just are not scary enough 1. you made the werebear form perfect who ever was in charge with making that put him on the bear and make him look more threatening *wereform again dropped the ball on this one looks like a rabid hyena who has mange 1. this form never looked good scrap it and come up with something new ad badass js *lastly fissure 1. this looks unfinished and if its not this dude was lazy -_-

The Wearbear looks amazing...the wolf on the other side is pathetic looking. Hope they improve that. Also Hurricane and Nade are underwhelming.

Lots of people played wind druids at start of new ladder.

Dude's MP or energy is not even consumed. Is he on mods? Questions aside, Druid is the most self-sufficient imho due to him being a CC, AoE, Atk'r, and support

Some of these are so meh that it hurts. BOOERNS!!!

They are good, just super gear dependent so they are expensive

armageddon meteors are not big enough
