@@jamesmoore230 you do /players7 in chat or 1-8 what ever number you chose that is basically the amount of players that are in the game and it makes killing them harder but gives more exp

Coming back for D2R and basic tricks like this are things that I've forgotten after not playing for over a decade.

Hey dude, nice video! Thanks Another useful tip that can save you a couple of seconds in between runs is when picking the game difficulty use 'R' for normal, 'N' for nightmare, and 'H' for hell. it also helps you avoid the risk of misclicking the wrong difficulty and reseting your maps. Hope this helps :)

@@Ubeogesh lol setting a macro to auto type /players [number] is not "cheating" yes you can use macros to do cheaty things but macros can also just be super useful although i'd suggest just using auto hot key instead.

If you have any new gen gaming mouse or keyboard you can make a macro for /players 1-8 and just bind that to a key. Then you just hit 1 key stroke and it does it all for you.

Version 1.03 is my baby for spearazons that is the version that made me try every form of spearazon. For every other version of the game after that.. I had this really fast amazing pike with ice blink.. They changed ice blink after 1.03 and that messed my build up.. it killed it... I do not know if it is possible in 1.03 but is there anyway to play single player with the difficulty and rewards like there were more players in the game?...

I've always used tp and went back to city to change /players x of already spawned enemies which worked for me

Hi does this difficulty setting only works in single player or does it work with multiplayer also

You could also use a third party macro tool to bind different player settings on F1-F4 keys for example.

I swear in 2005 I knew how to toggle an even better resolution but I can’t remember if I’m just making that memory up but I remember being able to get a really big picture of the land and my character was smaller and less pixilated

I'm pretty sure it's the latter. "Diablo walks the earth" just means the next superunique to spawn will be Uber-D, but he isn't actually "spawned" until you get close enough to a super-unique that it would spawn normally.

So sad this is not on the d2r console version and no one is talking about it.

Hi! sorry for my English but i have a question. I play PLUGY 11.02 whit D2 1,13D and is it normal that a found nothing good whit my Sorc lvl88 and 350% mf? And i do alot of kurast run and i found 2 vez in maybe 200 runs. Is it normal?

I know this video is a little older now, dont expect to really get a response, but would it be possible to go into a negative player count? Or would there be a way to LOWER the drop rate of items. I guess im just weirded out, I played two separate characters within two separate days, the first day i was hoarding rare items in my stash before the end of the first act, the second run i did, i was stuck using white gear till about the end of the 2nd act, like I couldn't put my finger on it, but it really felt like my game bugged out or something, almost the opposite of the Andy glitch, like every monster i killed was pulling from a loot pool that had already been drained. I hear that there is a thing happening behind the scenes with killing a boss the first time, and thats the best loot you will get, so for ANDY people will glitch her out so that you can kill again and it will always pull from a fresh loot table. So with that in mind, is it possible that the game gets bugged the other way, where it sees every enemy as a boss or something, and its pulling from an exhausted loot pool. It was just weird, I had never gone hours without seeing a rare drop, EVERYTHING was blue. It felt like my loot was almost turned down.

The more you know... I've been doing players 8 for everything since the beginning! Lol Overkill for 20 years.

This works only on offline, which is a bummer to solo players that still want the ability to join friend games. Or in my case solo where I want to run a second account for mules and lose the players difficulty option

when you do this command doesnt it say at the end is now X for example "players are now 6"? because when i do this it just shows up as chat but monsters doesnt seem to have more hp

When you enter the command, all generated (appeared at this moment ) monsters stay with previous level. The rule works only for new generated monsters

Sadly the saved setting doesnt work in D2r :( have to reenter it every time you enter a game.

Sorry for the question, english isnt my main language. If you say Diablo capped at 7 and Baal at 3 means their difficulty or their drop rate?

Its kinda confusing. Xp is capped at 7 for diablo and 3 for baal. But drop rates cap out at p5 for diablo and baal. Althought the difference between p3 and p5 for drops is very marginal.

Can you add a note saying this doesn't work for D2R on the top left or top right somewhere. i've been trying and it keeps breaking the enter up on new game. or at least confirm that it does work somehow and i'm just not getting it.

My f1-f8 auto type /players x. X being the same players as the f key. Qwerzxbh are skill keys.

@@Ambishous sorry it was a joke - meaning you can never have too much of it.

You can actually memory edit (or use trainer I guess?) to change player level to whatever, like 200. Not sure if that does anything besides making all the mobs super strong though.

yes but I wouldn't recommend farming LK on bnet anyways because of issues like realm down, not having the same map every time., not always having guaranteed 7 players in the game etc.

Fair enough. As everyone knows, there are still bots rampant on BNet, what i do is join those games (usually 5-8 players inc randos that join like me) as the bots usually just do Chaos and Baal. Games last 5 minutes or so, no issues with realm down. If i find one with a Pindle portal open, i'll hit that, LK and Ancient Tunnels or Mausoleum if time permits. if not, i just hit the throne room and Baal for the exp. They all have the pick program so any chance of getting anything decent MFing with them is zero which is why i stray on my own.

Partied players close is for experience only no? I think it still changes the amount of drops wherever you are in the game. I farm everything in LK. See way more items in Superchests and everything else (corpses, logs, chests) i pop compared to doing it solo. in the past 3 days, maybe 60-75 runs I've gotten a Vex, Ohm (which some guy offered me Cham and Jah for) and a Gul and like 8 skiller GCs plus filled 2 mules with pgems.

Does the command still works? cuz I get nothing when I type /players3

Player X can be overriden to such high number (like 9999), but the memory only accept number to 8. Once i set it to 100, and took me minute to kill a Fallen

I just meant that its not a true gain because experience penalties are applied afterwards to determine the end number. I didn't mean they get factored in at the same time.

it's a true gain. You get 5.5 times more XP at players 8 than on players 1. The penalty does not matter here at all.

When you say that Diablo is capped at 7 and Baal is capped at 3 you do mean their experience, drops, or both?

So cap is 5 all bosses for drop chance improvement, while Diablo is capped at 7 and Baal at 3 for experience. That's kinda weird, but ok. So no reason to ever do Baal above players 5, while no point in doing Diablo over 5 unless you want exp, in which case it's 7.

Drops arent only affected by all players in the game bro, missed a crucial part of it imo Players who are unpartied with you or not close (2 screens) will only count as 0.5 players. Wich means that you count as 1, but every playercount you increase above that will count as 0.5 This is on singleplayer aswell, so the NoDrop will be rounded down if its not an integer
