A few months ago I wrote a comment stating that DM finally got into my brain through your videos and your simple explanations; you make the most complicated course very easy to understand. I am pleased to tell you that I finally passed the NCLEX RN exam (third attempt) You helped me tremendously, you are awesome !!. I started watching your videos after my last failed (second attempt)and I honestly watched the 80-90%% of all your videos.Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. God Bless you Sarah.

I have read a half of the DM chapter in my school book in 4 days. Yet, I haven’t consumed much all the information that I read because it was too much and everything was so all over the place. It took me so much time for summarizing and do the concept map. You’re awesome, your vid is only 20’ but it surely includes all the info that I need to know. Your channel definitely is my survival tips for nursing.

So thx very much for a very wide, and complete, and concise coverage of this difficult endocronoligical illness . Thx again. The mnemomic, i myself found it very useful. I must admit, it helps one in clinical care of diabetes insulin dependent myriads of insulin preparations. The dangers of hypos , ive experrienced as a clinician..sudden death due to serious cardiac arrhythmias.. In the old times of SLIDING SCALE INSULIN.. MY daughter tells me sliding scale is not currently being used

"Active learning is proven to help students most in the classroom" -- Well, I may not have been part of that study then because lectures and in depth videos like this are much more helpful to me than presenting something to the class.

I had an ICU admission a few years ago who presented to ER with a blood sugar of 1,400. That's not the highest I've heard about but it was the highest I've seen.

Hi Sarah, I am so glad that you and your husband take time to make many wonderful videos to help us the nursing student. I just had an exam today on Endocrine sistems. I made an 82 ( I should score hire if I didn't overthinking about stuff that I already know the answer, but still, praise The Lord). I enjoy your cover on the diabetes and the mnemonics are awesome!! Yay me, in two weeks will be another exam, this time will be on Sensory Perception, seizure,MS, and Parkinson and many more. Once again thank you Sarah, I still have 3 more semester to go, so I will be looking forward to learn from you.
