话是这么说，伤不伤害她这种事夜华毕竟做不了主，而且还替她领了三年的雷刑。。。你的这个评论是基于现代文明法制社会的基础之上的，剧里这种动不动取人双眼的事情在现代社会当然不会发生。。。但是在这种一个人的生死全凭皇帝一句话的环境下，夜华这并不是借着保护素素的名义伤害她，这是想办法把外界对她的伤害最小化。。。要不是夜华主动这么说，估计素素已经死罪了。没了双眼总比死了灰飞烟灭强吧

你们想的都太天真，这个故事分明说的是女生当自强，如果她自己就是上神，加上有一个强大的家族背景，看男方那边谁敢放个屁。要是自己没什么本事，又没什么后台，爱又如何？

Ye Hua is literally a dragon, he is majestic and noble as dragon, but he is also violent as dragon. I mean, armies under his command commited a genocide of ENTIRE meremaid clan and he feels nothing about it. Even before that a Golden Lion accuses him of cruelty. Ye Hua is SCARY and capable of most heartless actions. Also he is still a young adult by immortals standards, inexperienced in love, powerplay and palace intrigues. Some of his decisions, actions and plans are careless, immature and not wise. Eventually he will become better, but now he has a long way to go. I like Ye Hua, but he is by no means flawless person.

赵又廷演的真好,他那种伤心欲绝,心痛不已的表情,都让人情不自禁的落泪😭

I read the novel and it was written from Susu perspective. It was so upsetting for Susu especially when she thought he took her eyes because he love Soojin and want her eyes as revenge. In the novel he also told her “we must give back what we own” when he took her eyes. We know it’s not true watching the drama but Susu don’t know 80% of what we know so for her it is so heartbreaking on many levels. As viewers we know Yehua suffered a lot but Susu had no idea. I love this story but a lot of suffering could have been prevented if their communication was better. Alas they didn’t and we got this masterpiece.

Ye Hua suffered much, but that was a power play between him and his grandpa. Su Su was a mere chess piece with no say in anything. Even if he suffered, it makes little difference in that particular situation because it was not just grandpa. He took her eyes because he didn't believe Su Su and thought she pushed Su Jin down. The life of Ye Hua with Su Su is full of his mistakes. He has all the good intentions and love for Su Su but lacks experience. Over estimates his own capacities, repeatedly thinks he had figured the problem out and found a solution on his own but getting it wrong at crucial points. Sujin's was given another set of fish eyes at least. Su Su didn't get even that. To assert herself and take back her agency she had to jump down the portal. She saw Ye Hua, with a very angry expression telling her that he himself saw her pushing Sujin. And next time he came to remove her eyes and no crying or pleading worked. She was already going in to depression since she came in to palace and after this she developed PTSD too. She started recoiling at Ye Hua's touch and couldn't bare it. (covered in drama too but not detailed). Though every time she withdrew, she was also full of dread that he would get angry and hurt her more. She would immediately start apologizing and excuse herself. She stopped talking to him. He never talked much to begin with so there was only silence. When he left, she would feel relieved. If he stayed for the night, she would brace herself to sleep quietly beside him. Ye Hua's POV on it, was not explained in the novel. He probably thought she was angry but silently accepted her behaviour as it's expression only. Yes, Ye Hua was very angry at the time. He didn't care for Sujin that much, but, he was worried that Su su would get a bad Karma. He believed he was doing Su Su a favour by taking her eyes and saving her from the karma. That hurting an immortal would back lash on the mortal and this way he could minimize her suffering. Of course he didn't share his reasoning with Su Su at any point. And Su Su interpreted his expression as being angry on Sujin's behalf only. She would still resent him for not believing her and removing her eyes, but she might have not been so much in despair, if she knew more. Ye Hua completely failed to understand the depth of hurt he caused her. He thought marriage and taking care of her would compensate it. Su su was unimpressed since she didn't know his thoughts and reasons of his action. She used to ask questions in the beginning but stopped after she found out that he was hiding things from her. Su Su had already learned that he had another concubine and was also engaged to other High goddess. She figured that one more concubine in the harem wouldn't make much difference to Ye Hua and he was marrying her out of pity since now she was blind- true. Yes- Ye Hua loved her too, but the pity part was also true. After Su Su was taken to the palace, Ye hua first planned to give her memory wiping potion and send her back to mortal world after child birth. He knew Su Su was not that much in love with him, so he thought it would be alright. But he decided to marry and take care of her when she became blind. For Su Su the relationship had turned abusive and she could no longer bare to accept that life. She would rather fend for herself in mortal world even as a blind woman. He should have left Su Su alone. He pursued her actively but hid his real identity. And in the novel it's even more clear that he manipulated her in to the marriage. In the novel: He fell for her and wanted her. She was oblivious. He pretended to be hurt. She didn't really know how to treat him and was fumbling. Then he fixed himself and pretended that she healed him. She then expected him to leave but he wouldn't. She then asked him to leave but he insisted on staying to repay the favour. She told him he didn't need to. But he insisted. So next she said he could pay her some money. He implied it was too little. Then out of options, she rather lightly asked him to pay back with his body. And he was like - right choice. Let's marry. Novel clearly explains that she was not in "love" with him at the time and made an off hand comment frivolously because of his attitude. She didn't expect him to agree. And he knew it. She agreed to marriage because he seemed to like her and she was lonely. Both expected that their feelings with get deeper as they live together as a couple. Of course Ye Hua was already in love. But he didn't really explain anything to her. But after marriage she was frequently left by herself for days to months or longer. And then ended up in the Nine heaven kingdom and more isolated and lonely than ever. She has questions about his long disappearances, but never gets answers and finally she stopped asking him. That was way before she was taken to Nine Heavens. Then she learned his true Id and about other women in his life from other people. Ye Hua had other concerns and was desperately making new plans to send Su Su back after child birth. However he didn't think hiding his ID and not telling Su Su was a problem too and he needed to take her opinion in the account. He is not trained to do that because his grandpa didn't want him to listen to harem women anyway. For mortal Su Su- she thought since Ye Hua doesn't tell her anything, it's useless to ask him and she relied on secondary sources like maids or Sujin. Ye Hua didn't realize that Su Su had her own opinion about the whole situation and could take any action on her own till she jumped down the portal. And here we are.

Thanks for the sensible take. From Su Su's limited perspective, she had been betrayed by the only man she ever loved. But we know that wasn't the case. Ye Hua was powerless to help her.

What’s so sad is he took her eyes out before she even had the baby. She never got to see her baby. This scene is so powerfully sad.😩 I saw the outtakes when they filmed this. Mark Chao was still very emotional after this scene was shot. I can’t even imagine this in real life. So sad. After he took her eyes he was determined to get his seal as crowned prince. So he’ll suffer through it to have power so that Su Su wouldn’t have to suffer anymore. Su Jin was the reason this couple suffered. It was because she was jealous of a man (Ye Hua) who didn’t even love her. She knew he didn’t. Even though she planted those seeds that he loved her in Su Su’s mind.

素素真是可怜。太善良了，才被素锦算计。可是夜华也不和素素好好沟通，如果素素完全明白他的想法和计划，素素也不会绝望。绝望是认为夜华不爱她，也不信她。换成任何有点骨气的女子，都接受不了这样的夫君。天上无处可逃，没人可以帮她带她离开，唯一的解脱就是跳下诛仙台。

I can’t get over this- the way she doesn’t even resist much when he takes her eyes… and that’s how broken she is by nowㅠㅠㅠㅠ

赵佑庭在诛仙台上救起素锦，看着素素时的复杂表情，简直是演得太到位，那种霎时间知道了事情所要承受的严重性和将付出惨痛代价的无可奈何，震惊和悲痛，又必须隐忍，压制内心的绝望，眼泪盈满了却不能流下来，都层层的表现了出来。

@@aishagresee2827 except for the third uncle. He was the one that helped Ye Hua from the very beginning. He even told psycho b*tch to move on but of course she didn't listen. She was beyond crazy. She took being a fatal attraction to a whole new level. The insanity is real. Dr. Phil couldn't help her work through her delusions. She was fixated and used guilt to get what she wanted. She was horrible.

Ppl are forgetting that Ye Hua was in pain too. He wanted to be with the woman he loved more than anything. He tried to fake his own death so he could live a lifetime with her and that plan was ruined. He was willing to have SuSu in any way that he can even if she is blind. He would rather she be blind then dead. Only bad part is he failed to protect her and therefore, she only has fear and resentment for him. Im not standing up for Ye Hua but Mark Chao did an amazing act as to how Ye Hua would be feeling through all this turmoil.

@@sxrxh5453 I think it has more to do with her lack of identity. She's an immortal whose lost her identity living in a mortal world where the women are passive and without a voice. When she was Bai Qian she had no problems standing up for herself. As Su Su she's a woman without an identity or personality so she doesn't know how to stand up for herself. She feels invisible in his world. She knows they hate her. She knows once the baby is born then she's done for...now she's dealing with a psycho b*tch whose escalated her attacks to the point where she lost her eyes and because Ye Hua didn't protect her..she's lost all hope. I felt so bad for her.

Princess LuXiu said YeHua was the only spiritual master of both Buddhism and Taoism. But to be surprised, he didn't notice how evil HeavenlyLord was at all. He knew everything but he knew nothing. SuSu lost her eyes that made YeHua open his eyes to the truth. The story line was so good.

这集真是看得我虐心 多处泪目。被赵又廷细腻精准的表演迷倒了。素锦陷害素素诛仙台那段，夜华对素素说“够了！我只相信我看到的”语气虽然凌厉 冷漠，可眼神却是极其心痛。抱素锦回宫时嘴上说“我去找药王”眼神对素锦却极其厌恶。眼神戏好棒！对杨幂的演技也有很大改观，素素在听到夜华要取她双眼时先是恐惧害怕，继而震惊不敢相信，最后是哀求，表演很有层次感！赞～

The people in Heaven wronged her severely. Makes my blood boil how fcking heartless they are…. Yang Mi and Mark Chao were brilliant in their acting here especially… definitely the most painful episode.

That moment when you trust and depend only one person then suddenly he will took away your eyes is extremely painful physically, mentally and internally. I feel her. I'm crying with so much pain inside my heart.

I think for this episode Mo Yuan is better than and deserves to be loved with SuSu nor that Crown prince Ye Hua he can't protect the person he loves, but Mo Yuan is always do his best to protect Siyin/SUSU ...i can't control myself crying this episode 😢😢😭😭

Ye Hua made lots of error in his judgements in trying to protect SuSu.. But SuSu also had her little share towards the total wreckage of their relationship. The real problem actually was Sujin but at the same time SuSu believed too easily every lies she told about Ye Hua. Another problem was Ye Hua didn't tell the full details to SuSu for all his actions which led to her misunderstanding and complete loss of trust in him. The continuous brainwashing by Sujin resulted in SuSu believing that Ye Hua has really betrayed her. Despite all these mistakes made by Ye Hua, i still could accept them because no plans were absolutely foolproof, but my greatest regret was when he took out SuSu's eyes to compensate for Sujin's loss. That was totally unfair for SuSu and he deserved to be hated by SuSu for all lifetimes.

從素素的角度來看，我寧可把夜华這個渣男給忘了，老婆懷孕，而且懷了那麼大的肚子。這路程一個人已經很辛苦，你還讓她這樣等，那樣等你回來，而且還被你的家人甩來甩去。。。你還在那麼多人面前這樣對她，這樣爛的男人根本都不配當她的眼睛或是老公!

This is my 2nd time watching, & it's still heart wrenching to watch her plead for him not to take her eyes. I'm crying AGAIN! Love this series.

I love this drama. Its wonderful when a couple can go through trying times and find the courage to forgive and move on.

因為涼涼這首歌而來看這部戲的！太虐心了！

She has no reason to really believe that he still truly loves her we see what he's doing but she doesn't so she's going based on what she observes with her own or what's left with her own two eyes he never takes up for her in front of other people at the end of the day he didn't have a discussion with her and tell her this is how I have to treat you in order to fool everybody

I really have to question the comprehension skills of people who don't understand this. Everything he does is to try and protect her but Heavenly Lord and Su Jin are determined to kill her. Su Jin is an Imperial Consort, no one in the Celestial Tribe is going to take the word of a mere mortal over hers. Some are mad because Ye Hua doesn't tell HL what he saw, they don't get that HL is part of the whole scheme, YH knows that.

夜華……鐵漢柔情……父子鬥智鬥法…… 取眼睛這段，兩人對望，趙又廷演得很好，楊冪太木了，沒有一點激動、甚至連希望夜華相信她的眼神都沒有，聽到夜華說相信時也只是點點頭，眼神也看不出變化，聽到取眼睛也沒什麼表情，只是瞪著夜華……一直到後退跌坐後才有變化……也許是後製配音聲音裡面充滿感情，把楊冪比下去了！ 大家都說夜華取素素眼睛太殘忍，但是一方面夜華是為了保素素，一方面由夜華動手，素素可以少受苦啊！而且三年雷刑有多痛啊，是夜華擋掉的！

赵又廷演的太好了！真是放了谁都不行。

夜华最大的错是隐瞒身份私自和素素成婚。其次是很多事都不告诉素素，以为是在保护她。两人从来没有处在平等的地位交流过。就算二人差距很大，可是素素也有权利知晓真相，哪怕经历失败和挫折，但凡她不笨，也可以成长和成熟。夜华这样对素素如同把小鸟养在金丝笼，小鸟毫无生存能力极度依赖主人，一不小心飞出去随时都会死。所以后面的事就是自己种因自己食的果。
