A summer evening drive along the main road through Karnataka's Nagarhole NP, proved surprisingly productive with a pack of Dhole and a Leopard on the tree among the highlights. The drive also proved productive for Stripe-necked Mongoose foraging in a Hadlu (a swamy grassland typical to Nagarhole) and a tusker in its prime, among commoner species.
