@@shlokasinganporia3016 Bharatanatyam is of more of geometrical n rigid postures, n less drama, while Kuchipudi is more of feminine expressions n flexible postures, n more dramatic. Tarangam is an exclusive Kuchipudi item where the dancer dances on a brass plate! And of course there’re differences in dressing, jewellery and makeup.

@@angeleej536 Kuchipudi is more expressive, free flow next to only Kathak which is the relaxed musical of all. Both these dances developed independently in their courts and temples. Kuchipudi being very close to were Bharatnatyam comes from share many nuances.

The grace which Manju Warrier displayed in dhithiki dhithiki Thai of movie Ennum Eppozhum cannot be compared to this at all. This is not even reaching at Manju chechis feet. Manju Warrier is a Legend.

I glanced video for a second and was taken aback by the dancer's grace and skill. Once I realized that it was Manju Warrier I wasn't surprised any more. She is a class by her self, unmatched talent and dedication

@@LaggardInLove uk some people have physical issues and can't dance...the person literally admires and respects an art form which many people don't...he or she is contributing by supporting classical dancers whatever so u think and name it as "gyan" and stuffs..even I have a physical problem ..my knees ball and socket joint is kinda loose by birth...Dr advised me to take rest and dance...I learn Bharathanatyam..I'm mentally prepared maybe I'll have to giye up the love of my life but, I decided that I'll learn kathak then..I can't stay away from dance..and I would always support every art form of india no matter what

My 3 yr old daughter once watched this video and she started watching it again and again every day. Now she is 6 yrs....and not even a drop of interest has veen lost in her in watching this dance of Manju Chechi. She has mesmerizing elegance in herself. Love u chechi....

Every state/region/province (whatever you call it) has a different culture, tradition, and language. Yet at the same time it still remains in the same country. It’s so wonderful, even the history of it, is just unbelievable! Can I just say you people are very lucky to live in such a country so colorful and elegant. And the thing is... I have never been to India before unfortunately. But it’s my big desire to live there.😔 But, I still want to keep learning everything about the country. Because I am in love with India, my friend 💕🇮🇳

What is the difference between Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam? Seems like so identical to Bharatanatyam. I cannot distinguish.

@@blackhole783 bharatanatyam is more rhythmic and symbolic where kuchipudi is more graceful and expressive ( with more rounds ) This is what I know

@Juniper 😂ok. Now one care who gave culture to whom. Then by ur logic all indians including tamils got culture from SouthAfrica. Because human race orginated in present day African continent. Cultures evolve with years. The best thing is to appreciate what you see today.... Rather than showing crazy superiority complex. Respect everyone. No language or culture is above or below another one. If someone thinks otherwise, then he/she is really stupid.

africhie, u don't know bharatanatyam history... Whatever history u r thinking is all WRONG. I just asked to my gurus.. I will tell the original history behind bharatanatyam... Once upon a time, there lived two bharata munis.. They created bharatanatyam. Bharata and natyam.. That is why in bharatanatyam we use natya... None idiot has changed it into bharatanatyam... Understood?

I like Bhanupriya and manju warrier in indian classical dance... Such grace and beauty both of them possess. Ufffff....... Shobhana is nothing in front of these dancing goddesses.......shobjana does aways same movements with.zero perfection.... But she thinks she is the ultimate in classical dance.....
