On the first day of sindure jatra, on lunar calendar Chaturdashi of Baishakh, dhami cleanse himself with the help of kumari pouring water on him and then he cuts his nails and sees his face in the mirror and is then worshiped with puja. Later Dhami visits Dware (who is in charge of all the Guthi) home where he receives bali of chhyang after which Dhami gets to Goyapati where lingo jatra will happen.
