for my cat i took some boiled water let it cool, added some himalyan salt and put it into a dropper, two drops every couple of hours and he was right as rain

It’s nice that you take the time to find a way that works for your cat to get him to clear the discharge from his nose. I do the same thing with my cat. I am able to kind of push lightly in a quick succession to get the cat to sneeze and then wipe the nose. This discharge can be due to the herpes virus, which is why it never really goes away. If they are stressed or not feeling well, the immune system can drop and the discharge and any other symptoms like breathing issues or coughing, can get even worse. I recently had to take my cat to the vet for a couple of days and the discharge and breathing got even worse due to the stress of being away from home and in the hospital. There is a medication that she is now on to help with the virus that you do have to get your vet to write a prescription to take to a human pharmacy. The L lysing is a good immune system booster as long as they are getting the right does on a daily basis. Hope your cat stays well

This worked good, but you can also use an aspirator that they sell for babies, that sucks it out, it's called a snot sucker. They are about three dollars. I'm not sure which is better, getting the cat to sneeze worked really good.

The thing is with my cat I give him L lysine I've tried several things but he doesn't have any snot up there . It's just swelling I guess there's nothing that ever comes out and he's 12 he's been doing it forever I can't figure anything out

How does that work? Are u blocking one side with the tissue so it makes him sneeze out the other side?

It is my belief that the cat is sneezing from both nostrils after being tickled by the tissue. I think this technique prompts the cat to sneeze in general, but the nostril that is blocked with mucous will obviously be more noticeable when the discharge is expelled.

The tissue may help unblock the nose a little, but most of it is cleared because it gets the cat to sneeze it out.

My cat is having cold from last 3-4 days , she sneezes every 5-10 minutes . Plz help me . I don't wanna left her to die . Her nostrils are jammed due to fluid .😭🥺💔💔💔

Have you taken her to the doctor yet? Put some warm blanket over her and before her. as primary care What did the doctor say after taking him to see
