This video shows how to seed treatment of Amon paddy.
Seed treatment is the application of fungicide, insecticide, or a combination with seeds to eradicate the fungal/bacterial microorganism from seeds. The seed treatment has various benefits-
1) It prevents spread of plant diseases
2) It protects seed from seed rot and seedling blights
3) It improves germination of seeds
4) It controls soil insects etc.
