DH Bike Vs Downhill E-MTB | What’s Fastest Down Hill?

Спорт

It's this episode of our What is Faster? series, Neil Donoghue is back out riding Difi Bike Park to compare the Nukeproof Dissent downhill bike with a Husqvarna Extreme Cross 10 downhill EMTB!
Will the agility of the downhill bike beat the stability of the E-Downhill bike?

I was wondering if we'd ever see downhill E-MTB's. That Husky looks amazing. I don't think it would be something you'd really ever compete in comps with, but it looks like it would be great fun for general downhill/techy stuff where there's no shuttle service. I wonder if it's a bit overkill for an E-bike though. It would be interesting to see how something like a Kenevo or even a Levo compares on that same Dyfi trail.

I think Max from GMBN auf Deutsch said it. The Bio DH ist slightly faster and a little bit more fun, but with an E-DH you can ride lokal DH Trails a few times more often, because you are much faster the way up.

The e bike would def have carry momentum in the straight sections, but it would be sluggish in the turns. I bet the lower and centered heavier weight could actually be a benefit in technical terrain, but man i would not want to steer that through all those berms

Many places have lots of elevation and pretty gnarly terrain making this a better trade off than an (non-e) enduro bike. A dh bike will always be the best tool for the job on the descents but if you have no lift or shuttling road this is the next best thing. Imagine sessioning a gnarly local track, then flying up the next hill to ride another tech trail and so on.. sign me up. ✅

I own a downhill electric mountain bike, but I'm facing an issue with its 20mph speed limit. To successfully clear most of the jumps, a trail speed greater than 20mph is required. However, my motor stops assisting at 20mph, making a traditional bike faster in these instances.

I personally love e-bikes and only wished I had the money to afford one ( who am I kidding one road, one gravel, one mtb and one cruiser).

After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working kzread.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.

I would like GMBN to not feature E-bikes. Like we wouldn't have enough waste, ethical and environmental problems from electric components (esp. batteries) from other sources already. I don't understand why people feel the need to go easy way and buy themselves new toys like e-bikes. If people are ready to buy there's people to capitalise on it. Just pedal your bike (unassisted), build up your fitness and try to reduce how much waste you produce.
