Fab video. We've just had a look at DFDS so thanks for your recommendation. They will get our business for our next crosding as they look better value for money than the others.

You won't be disappointed!😍 We have never had such an efficient and enjoyable time onboard a ferry crossing✌🏻

I recently did the same and was pleasantly surprised with both the ship and the staff. I would love it if there was another pet-friendly common area, in addition to the dedicated cabins and deck, maybe like a cafe or restaurant, cuz I didn't want to leave my dog alone in the cabin for too long. Also, it ends up being a rather expensive trip, especially if you add up all the extras (meals, bus transfers, etc.), so definitely not something that you can do without good planning. Loved the overall experience and would recommend it, but it would be great if the prices were cheaper (maybe like a member discount for people using the service 2+ times a year)..

1:20 Having to go into the cabin, switch on the lights, set up the camera on a tripod (probably spending a few minutes getting the best angle etc) and then go back out of the cabin with the dog and wife. All just to pretend on video that you are entering the cabin for the very first time. 😀

Ah, I had a conversation with someone a few days ago about this ship, so I'm delighted to see you guys popping up on my homepage tonight! For a ferry, this ship actually looks really impressive - like a little miniature cruise ship! My sister is actually about to do a van trip to Europe (for the first time), so I'll be sending her you channel - you guys are excellent!

Great video. Looks a better choice of food than on other ferries. Like that they gave you a tour of the ship. Thanks for sharing, will use them next time we go to Europe

Without a doubt! DFDS really give customers a luxury experience without the hearty price tag, couldn't recommend them enough!

That ferry looked spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly want from a ferry. I was surprised seeing on board holding cells it's one thing ive never thought about, but cool to see 👍 Let's hope you travel again with DFDS maybe on future european travels Great video Thanks

Your not wrong there, everything on board was presented so well! We can't recommend DFDS enough and will be using them for all future trips to get us and our van to Europe!✌🏻 Let's hope we won't be spending any more time in that holding cell though 😉

The food was really good!😍 If you liked the look of the food that much, consider the Amsterdam mini cruise, seeing you sail from the UK to Amsterdam and back, so two nights on board ( so two dinners😉)

It was the best! By far the best ferry company we've used ( and we're not just saying that!) and yes of course! They accommodate up to two dogs so you'll have no problem taking the whole family!🐾

Another great video guys thank you 🙏🏾 now that you’ve finished your European tour how did you find travelling with your van? Only asking as I was planning to build one based on a swb ducato too, did you ever wish you had a bigger van whilst on your travels?

Thanks Scott! Really appreciate your continued support! We're going to be filming a video answering that very question when we return home to south Wales! But in short, we loved traveling in our van, and there's very little we would change but we're looking to build a bigger van in 2025!

Hi, on which Deck is the Pet friendly cabin? We traveled last week from Calais to Dover and our dog was scared by the noise of the ship 😅 brgds from Scottland

Hi, are dogs allowed in the games room or restaurant?

Good,for,you getting sponsored We just pay and agree it’s a great operator albeit sometimes rather expensive I just wish they’d open one bar or area at least so you are not confined to the cabin with the dog as we don’t like to leave the dog in the cabin

Definitely agree though ship is spotlessly clean, pet friendly cabins are great and staff are soooo friendly. We used them 4 times now and will continue to do so

Glad you agree with our opinion of the ship, like we said, although sponsored it was our honest opinion on this experience! Totally agree with the pet side of things, but considering how pet friendly DFDS are, it wouldn't surprise me if this is something they will implement in the future! 🐾✌🏻
