After watching the first season, I had a feeling Brian would be my favourite antagonist; after the remaining seven original seasons, he is still my favourite antagonist. They really gave it their all in the first season. Edit: In a way, I wanted Brian to help rid Lila, Miguel, George, Arthur, Jordan, Travis and Oliver/Daniel with Dexter.

yeah dexter should have let him go and him to come back in later seasons;

yeah totally. he's so cool. i was upset when he killed him. i was actually kinda mad a dexter if you can believe it. i think that they should have done what they did in the books. let brian run away and return occasionally. then kill him off in the series finale when he forces dex to chose between deb and him. that would have been not only dramatic but excellent writing for a finale. season 1 was the best because of him.

Crazy part is that Brian was the dark passenger when he appears later on as hallucination he is dressed in all black it shows that he rlly never got rid of brian or got over him he always carried Brian with him
