Besetzung
Pablo van de Poel - guitar, vocals
Robin Piso - keybords

This is a clear example of how good music exists, and young people can still give a lot and in an original way. Bands like this should be supported and listened to by as many people as possible, they deserve visibility...

I love these guys so much! Pure, great and real music. And tone for days. Can I just add that I would love to see a bass player with them. Someone dropping bombs when they need dropped. For me that is a lacking here. Those keyboards playing the bass root note leaves me cold. All my 2 cents but I sure love what these guys do.

If you go to their concert I would recommend to buy their book. I didn’t know that they are allready 16 years together. Pablo, the lead singer , his girlfriend was making pictures since the beginning and she made a great photo book with stories 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️

now...I have watched the documentary about them recording a new album in France with a lengend in studio recording and started becoming a fan. Then I watched a gig back home, some Pop Festival...What was mesmerizing more than anything was of course their energy on stage. All lead by the front man. Being a fairly ambitious guitarist myself, I thought more and more about possible influences of this guy. Where did he get most of his inspirations from? More often than not you can hear elements shining through. ZZ Top especially in the song styles and riffs - but ONLY the early days. Mabye the first 5 or 6 albums - the then more and more experimental stuff does not seem to be his favorite. Then of course Led Zepelin - some songs remind you so much of their style! When he picks up the "Thunderbird" Johny Winter has to spring to mind. Also his fluid solo runs. And in one song in particular I hear Rory Galagher melody lines also solo runs. I love his tone and style - so much soul and depth. Even when he goes through solo runs, there are still lots of notes he plays with so much intention. He is not messing around. And he does not seem to play those beautiful guitars with distortion but overdrive and crunch. Always giving the guitar s chance to be playful and at least having some mellow undertone. I hate - I really have to use such strong words - I just hate these guitar heros like slash who play vintage Gibson Les Pauls like it was an Epiphone. After some research I discovered that mostly the Epiphone is used for massive distortion. I don' t get it: wood, strings...etc make no diiference whatsoever. You are not allowing the guitar to sing but scream. Gary Moore originally being a Hard Rock always loved going for all but was also a musician who knew well how to make his guitars do both.

I forgot Deep Purple. That Korg Hammond is made to sound just like John Lord was playing it a lot plus this guy here likes putting in some elements from classical music one of which used to make John sound rather special.

One more thing: being a a hard nose ZZ Top fan, I love them as trio. Odd you don' t seem to miss the bass, even though the keyboard bass not a lot really. But goes to show the bass first and foremost is there to keep things steady and give some bottom.

I agree about the bass. But when it is there it is really there. I took a friend beginning of December. He didn’t know the band and he is a bass player. Suddenly we heard a very thick baseline and I saw him looking for a bassist. 😂 👍🏽. I knew that moment would come. It was great. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
