I'm sipping a 19 year old sherry cask finished Speyside Single Malt while watching this... and reminding myself that this Dewars blend is literally twice as old. That's crazy!

I was recommended to try this place in Denver. I have family and work there every now and then. Anyhow, visit Talnua and I was surprised how good it was. A bit light for me, too much of that cask strength bourbon. Ended up bringing a bottle home pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to what they make next.

That was awesome. Oldest whiskey I've ever had was EC 18. That bottle is double that age and then some. Wild
I love the idea of this guided tasting experience! It would be cool if other distilleries would record guided tasting notes for the products that you could listen to while enjoying. They could tell story of how the product was made or like the history of the brand.

I just recently did a Macallan tasting while on a cruise and they did play a video to go along with all 4 pours. As primarily a bourbon guy, that was incredibly helpful for dipping my toes into Scotch whisky.

Maybe you can one up Dewars a bit.... Set up one of those extreme high definition 360 cameras in the vault and have Daniel give an in person tour of some of the best or rarest bottles. Then post it in a VR format so we could actually explore the vault with VR headsets. At least do it for the MB's.

No, we will never hold the Somm courses anywhere except the tower in Austin. But we did design an online course that's more of a solid foundation course for whisky knowledge. wizardacademy.org/bona-fide-whiskey-enthusiast/
I got to try 2 different 44 year old scotches in a single night (free tasting too!) Single Grain and a Single Malt.
What's funny is she has the Cairn Glass and they give you the big old sipper😂😂

Yep Googled it. $1699.95 minus $189.00 for the headphones say $50.00 for the stone, looked like about 8.5x11 half inch thick probably marble. Yep we can all dream.
