DeWALT XR Concrete Nailer HAS A SPECIAL FEATURE! (don't overlook this!)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

DeWALT XR Concrete Nailer HAS A SPECIAL FEATURE! (don't overlook this!) In this video we show the #verycoolgang a overlooked special feature on the new DeWALT 20V MAX XR Cordless Concrete Nailer! We unbox and overview this cordless concrete nailer because we are building some new walls at the shop and needed a new concrete nailer to put some metal track in place on top of concrete. Our old cordless nailer is a Paslode concrete nailer that runs on gas and battery power but keeps on failing or running out of gas. This new concrete nailer from DeWALT is super nice and has a special feature that you don't want to overlook! Let us know your thoughts on this cordless concrete nailer from dewalt in the comments section below.

The company I work for has one and I love it! I do commercial HVAC install and DeWalt also offers accessory hardware to use with the pins such as washers and hanger brackets so I can shoot a nail through their washer to hold hanger strap to concrete for hanging duct or I can shoot a nail through one of their hanger brackets and then loop cable through the hole in the bracket to hang duct. It's so much quicker than drilling a hole and then pounding in one of those anchors that looks like a bent nail. I believe they also sell an extension pole so you can use it without climbing a ladder. I would imagine ceiling grid guys could use one for hanging their grid wires as well.

I have had one when they first came out I still use gas more because the power , but it still works good for new concrete, just need better pins

If the plastic sleeve breakdown overtime you’ll end up with a loose nail. That is not perfectly embedded.

Pretty impressive to be honest. Cordless power tools have come so far, I remember when I got into the trades all we had to use was the old Makita long handle 12 volt drills that would get so hot one couldn’t use it and u better have had 15-20 batteries on hand 😂.

That's is sweet I like the no gas part it's like the new nail guns no air hose and compressor to deal with and the noise is even better used to have the gun news the different color shots put each Dale in individually one of the time and then press down where you want to shoot and what did everybody do look away and pull the trigger this way so much safer you look at what you're shooting and very quiet

I would love to have the DeWalt tool to add to my DeWalts, but I'm past that point in my life. 36 years ago I first used the old orange handle Remington nailer with a big ball-peen hammer to set the charge off. We rented a 7,500 sq. ft. first-floor space, cleared the old walls, and built 11+ foot high walls with steel studs. I'd never used steel studding before nor had I used the Remington nailer. They both worked like a charm! I switched to DeWalt tools with almost all tools, starting when DeWalt brought out their 4 1/2-inch handheld grinders. I think they were a new brand then. I still have the grinders, still working! Yes, I added more DeWalt grinders to those for faster usage of whatever is needed but the original grinders are tops for endurance. Purchased in the early 1990s. Amazing, there's been almost no maintenance done, always used in a commercial art foundry. Boss!

I'm so bummed today😣. I forgot to close my truck bed gate last night, and went to work this morning without realizing it was still open. Sadly 2 tough system boxes with ALL my DeWalt power tools and batteries fell out along the way. I'm mad at myself for letting that happen but so sad because you work hard and invest into your toys (tools). I know with time, I'll be able to eventually buy these things again.... Its just depressing😔. Just wanted to vent with fellow tool junkies! Hope y'all have a good rest of your day.

Looks like the very short nails are having difficulty going into the tough "old cured" concrete. Not sure how it will work with structural steel either if its having difficulty with the concrete. I'm on full Dewalt ecosystem, but I think more R&D is required on this product, will have to wait it out for the second revised version. Not quite there yet.

Wondering Vince, after you used this tool for a while; did you notice any flagging at all, or other issues that might “drive you crazy” (don’t necessarily count jams as an issue.....unless it’s a constant thing; since a nailer/pinner will jam every so often)? As I don’t like the “fly wheel” system DeWalt’s using on their Nailers/Pinners; I do like the way it’s easy to clear a jam. Most times, flipping lever on top does the trick, but if have to get “into” the tool.....still pretty easy. Even w/ the fly wheel spinning, the ramp up is not that bad on the nailers etc... But what nice today, everyone can choose their “flavor” (‘cept for Milwaukee framing nailers, that is😏😆). Great to see VCG keeping at making vids, & wouldn’t be the same if they had to stop; as w/ all the KZreadr out there. Thx Guys, see ya on next one 🤜🏻🤛🏼

U do know what one goes first at least on the paslode in your hand if the light is blink green red it’s and indicated that u have X amount of battery life to do x amount of nails if it was the fuel it was just not fire would not matter if the battery was full or dying would not fire with out the gas so u would know it’s the gas when it the battery u see the light when it dying it blinks at least with paslode u may be correct but should have not had a paslode in your hand DeWalt is my favorite brand but does not measure up to a paslode but the are different in design and power sources
