Yeah they are cutters for sure. I've cut some 22 guage content with them and still haven't dulled them.

This is a game changer. The vid I mean not quite the tool. I'd given up on buying it after watching another vid that could not go over the ridges but you demonstrate it's a matter of skill rather than a tool limitation.

Turn the drill 90 degrees to it and you will get better results.

@@lakelifecraftsmannot sure I follow this. Pushing the drill away from your body looks the best way to use this tool. I can see torque from the drill will affect a straight cut.

I was using a reciprocating nibbler on my drill to trim roofing. Just a shaft with step change in diameter, not a blade as in this video. Slow compared to this video. I see a lot of the drill attached cutters using rotary blades - now I’m thinking desalt must have tried the rotary blade and said nah

Yea. It’s still a pain in the neck , but a lot of steel roofing manufacturers void the warranty if you use a grinding wheel. Jeez

@@lakelifecraftsmanbecause it heats up the cut area and melts the paint. It rusts there faster. Im reading when its cut with a shear it somehow seals the cut better.
