I’ve been using Dewalt tools for most of my career, and I also decided to try the Craftsman orbital sander (due to the lower cost). I am very happy with it! It runs just as good as my Dewalt sanders.

The Craftsman CMEW231 is extremely similar to this Dewalt minus the variable speed. I have had great luck with the Craftsman and it’s $30 less. Just thought I’d share.

Just bought craftsman over dewalt casue lowes was out of stock exact same situation this video makes me feel better about the purchase

Craftsman Dewalt and Porter Cable are all owed by Stanley Tools so they are very similar.

Was wondering if anyone knows where one can get replacement pads for the craftman, been having trouble finding one for future references. I've heard the dewalts pads are pricy which is why been looking into bosche,but if the pads aren't bad for the craftman I'd probably go for that one☺

More than likely they're the exact same guts housed inside a Craftsman body. I have a Black & Decker 4-1/2" 6.5 amp angle grinder and I can tell it's the same as the Craftsman and Porter Cable
