My Pastor have a Volvo n that's the way his car is , it stop on a red light n the engine cuts off n when he takes his foot of the break is starts right up. Very nice . When I let go of my nozzle trigger on my regular pressure washer it stops shooting water. If I want it off I turn it off. I hate that “green feature” it sucks.

We used to wash our ambulances with a Truck brush, picked up at truck stop, or Lowes now sells one. It needs to be a soft bristle.

Correct. Here in Florida the hard water, aka calcium will clog it eventually.

Hey Vince, how the ol pressure washer holding up over 1 year?

Okay where did you get that at Lowe's Home Depot or damaged box equipment retailer

I use 4k Mi-T-M and a 4k Graco for jobs. I don't know about the long term professional use of the Dewalt but I do like the auto start and stop. With my washers if the guys don't kill the motor when stopping, or just letting them run to long without squeezing the trigger while running then the ceramics in the washer pump can become damaged. Which relates to about a 4 hundo repair. Ask me how I know lol. But the auto stop start takes that equation out, but the flip side is another thing to go wrong and delay production. As to what I'd want in a damaged box item 40/50 % off.

I would need at least 40 percent off for an open Box like that

I understand the saving fuel, the convenience and noise of not running 100% of the time, but scratching my head on how you save water...?

That seems like a nice washer with great features wouldn’t hurt to let dewalt know it didn’t come with the battery and charger they may send you one !

Always love a good deal. Id have to know exactly why its an open box before i asked for a % off, but i try to always ask for 50% first, and never go lower than 30% unless its like a floor model or display. And your correct about taking paint off your car. You never want to exceed 3200, but 2400-3000 is ideal.

Hey guys, is there any effective way of cleaning up power tools with bad stains? I used purple power and it got most of the grease and dirt off. However there was still some red chalk on the sides that wouldn't let up. Thank you for the good content, keep it up😎

First, make sure it's a stain by wiping with Denatured or 90% Rubbing Alcohol with Terry Cloth rag. Stains should come off with an acid wipe (Whink works best in my experience or muriatic acid which is cheaper & really strong, so wear gloves whatever you use & always test in a conspicuous area). Magic Eraser , which is equivalent to 4000 grit wet sandpaper, may take off with just water, but is awesome when used with any cleaner or acid. Always rinse or wipe with wet cloth afterward to remove any residue. If Muriatic acid doesn't take stain off, probably won't come off.

How long the battery last?

My open box 3400 has a broken water controller shut off connection, where you screw the water hose to. Anyone know where I could pick up one? It takes two Alen screws to remove it. Having know luck on Amazon nor Duck Duck Go.

mine was in an unmolested box and its still a pile of dung.... only runs for two minutes at a time

Can you try the surface cleaner on this unit.

I have heard awesome things about these DeWalts but I am really worried about how long it'll actually last with that Auto shut off and turn on. That's allot if extra stuff to malfunction and break! I am really interested to see how long these will s after a year it two of hard usage. I don't mind to admit it but I honestly don't have much faith in then for longevity.

Well it still has the string pulley if it does. Worst case it works like a regular pressure washer

It's better not to run full synthetic oil until break in is up . it helps seat the rings

I have the DeWalt gas pressure washer and everyone and anyone has used it but one thing we always run really good gas and 1 pool 2 the most it runs so good I don't think that thing will ever have anything go wrong with it

You should always run all your small engines on high test gas causes less gumming up

DEwalt or ryobi for Pressure washer?

My buddy just got exact one and didn’t know it came with barely any oil if any ( assembly oil ). He looked up online why it wasn’t starting and obviously wasn’t starting cause low oil sensor. He found something online that told him to unplug black wire from kill switch. Instead he unplugged black wire to low oil sensor then it started ( still no oil in it ). Surprisingly it lasted 3 maybe 4 hours with no oil while he pressure washed 90% of house till it Seized. I think they should put big stickers or something to let buyer know that they need to add oil!!!

COME ON MAHN!!! unwravel that pressure hose !

I would say about 10% for the box damage and up to 20% for parts missing. I have almost got the same as that one. I just don't have the battery one. mine starts first pull or sometimes you need to put some muscle to get it started. but its an absolute powerhouse and way better than the power cord ones so I don't have to have electricity around it. it also holds a lot of oil and gas. I only use it to clean my cars for now and I did get mine for a discounted price due to the hardware place moving locations. you will notice for sure if you missed spots while cleaning cars or your trailer. if I was to get another one I would definitely get a battery starter one

Where I am from i can get a whole pallet of 2000,2300, and 3000/3300(if I remember right) ryobi pressure washers for $2300 $3600 and there's 8 to 12 units on a pallet!

I bought a used power washer with a honda GX390, that's the 13hp motor, and has a 4GPM 4,000PSI commercial triple pump for $200! Because the guy was moving and could t take it with him. I plan on making lots of money with that machine!

how to make a pressure washer last forever 1. don't let the motor run for longer than 20 seconds without the trigger pulled. (it will burn up the pump because the water flowing through the pump keeps it cool) 2. at the end of use before storge longer then a week put pump saver through the pump( available from lowes, home depot, amazon) the seals will dry out if not used 4. before storge and pump saver burn all of the fuel out of the tank and carb with the trigger pulled. (what i do is run the washer without the hose connect an dit sprays into the open air)

one problem with motor set ups like this is that startup is the hardest thing on the engine (highest torque moment, largest static friction) so although you are saving in fuel/oil wear you may be loosing long term in engine damage. a smaller engine does not decrease the relative damage
