Dewalt DCW600 cordless trim router

New favorite router!!! Being cordless is great but the best feature to me is how easy it is to see what your routing. Cutting mortise for hinges is something l do on occasion and this made that really easy to keep on my lines.

It’s a great tool. Your spot on with the base a great view line. I sold my mains volt to buy this I will never go back now. Great review 👍

I would go spend the 20$ to $30 bucks for the the hinge template kit....no need to watch so much and you will pay for it the first 5 doors you do.....nice router bro

RPMs are about the same. What you're hearing is the benefit of brushless. Also, it's lower current so less HP. And we don't even get to see you knock out that hinge? Suggestion, turn your camera HORIZONTAL so we can see it all. You didn't mention the speed dial or the lights. Both plusses.

@@toolman101476 thanks toolman..and if they are compatible let me know if they look exact same or not..some reason dewalt is calling for a diff part # for collet nut on the dcw600...some companies do that to make more money too...so we will see

jbath302 lt was just a scrape piece l had left over from building a attic access door. This was for demo purposes only. I was just showing it routing and how easy it was to see the marked lines. If l had mortised where you typically do it would be harder to view it. And I would have to have template or a spacer to be able to route that ..... this was just easier to demonstrate it
