Love the looks and it seems pretty cool but just for videos and stuff I believe if people start doing that to the 850’s they are going to put the tool through some stress tests that are going to end up in smoke.

Love the Hart hand tools. They actually make some decent stuff for the price.

I swapped out many 877 impact drivers to 3/8. I also did the 845, but my new favorite is the dcf 860 I swapped it to 3/8 drive it makes a lot more power than the other models

I think I'll try adding one of these to my DCF 840. I use it as a truck impact for tore changes.

I converted my Bauer impact drivers like this for specialty uses i needed to run ultra deep 9/16 sockets for fence panel clamps but they were half inch drive and snapped hex adapters regularly so i put a similar anvil into several and they hold up to my uses

Small recommendation for future: have the inset face-camera on the top right so it doesn't cut out any of the work.

Bro excellent video. You helped me make what I think is the strongest 1/4" drive impact wrench. One thing I did notice is that it is much louder than most the other tools after you do this mod. Even than the standard 1/2" impact wrench. Did you notice this? It makes a more high pitches screeching noise.

Amazing! Very very strange choose. Why not DCF 922 ?? it is twice better then DCF850, because the 400Nm vs 200Nm. And maybe the 17.8 mm from the manufacture. Also the same weight almost.

Cool video. Question.. will you ever try and get your hands on CAT cordless tools and see what they are all about? Haven’t seen much on them but supposed to be good quality. Just a thought. Keep on rockin the vids 👍

​@@Jtwizzle supposedly that graphine battery is a little misleading. It's really lithium ion batteries with a graphine coating so was not really what we were expecting. Such a let down.

i used the WORX anvil WU279 on my atomic dcf809 it is straight swap no modification

Im having problems with my swap on my dcf850. My anvil is flippity floppity in the housing and cannot figure out why i didnt see you use a snap ring on the anvil or anything

Curious, the bosch had the red collet ring to pull to lock the 1/4" bits in. How do you do that with that anvil?

You don't need to dremel anything, but it does take some finesse. An awl (like one that comes with a leatherman for piercing leather) and a screwdriver will allow you to pop both of them off. Just don't do what I did and stab your finger deep. Still bleeding as a write this.

That's a good question. This would be great on a 801, or 901, or 923. A stubby that can do hex or anvil would be great.
