Definitely would love to pick one up one day. We’re still using the STIHL TS 420. Could you imagine having one of these 20yrs ago😎. Crazy how far things have advanced. Awesome demo brother 👊

Getting one delivered next week. Will save a lot of time for what I need and will mean not having to hire someone @ $100+ an hour. Way I see it the tool will pay for itself with what I have waiting. Being able to cut the concrete wet and suppress the dust is also a BIG plus. I have all Makita tools (about 6) but liked the Dewalt more for this.

@@toolrev I hear you :-) I have a heap of old concrete that needs removing and with this I'll be up over $2K. I tried my circular saw (6 inch) with a concrete cutter and it just plain sucks. Also, I think next door will be thrilled if I can do it in 10% of the time without all the dust or use of a jack hammer.

Used the stihl 36v one and its gutless. I have the milwaukee 9" grinder and its ok but if you push it hard it will stall cut off. Wondering if this is more powerful than both of the fore mentioned? I also wonder if there is a v2 coming out since dewalt has bought out some v2 models of other 54v tools with more power.

In my experience Flexvolt 60V tools can be pushed harder than Milwaukee 18V FUEL tools before bog and stall. This cutter came out well after the v1 Flexvolts so it may already have the upgraded motor or whatever they did to get more power in the gen2 stuff.

Water mechanism excluded, does it worth the extra money compared to a 9" cordless angle grinder? For a country home owner do you think is a must or a big angle grinder can be enough? Thank you.

You can cut all this stuff with a grinder. For me, already having the batteries, this was worth the cost. I'd rather cut stone with this for sure. Unlike buying the DeWalt mud mixer when I already have the hammer drill. That purchase is regret.

For cutting the saw would be safer to use than the grinder.A grinder was meant as the name of the machine implies-to grind rather than cutting.Especially when I see users cutting on the grinder with the guards removed-----SCARY!!!!!

I'm not sure if this is best for sidewalk repair. You don't get that long a run time. I have a place that keeps cracking. I need to cut out an inch before the concrete will hold. I have a SDS maximum drill to clean it out. The gas versions usually use a 32:1 mix. I may just rent one. 🐀🐾

These eat batteries. I’d want at least 4 9 amps in rotation in a 12 amp charger for anything serious. Or a few 12 amps but those aren’t worth the money for my needs.

@@toolrev 😃 Thanks for the reply! I have the same 9” saw from Milwaukee, and the air intake for motor compartment is located just where all the cement slurry goes. And it’s the same problem across all brands. What were the engineers thinking 🤷‍♂️ I taped a piece of dishwashing sponge on the intake so it can still breathe a bit and not suck-in the cement. I live in Canada so over heating is not too big of an issue.

gotcha.. I wish I can find a cheap gas one. 900 is a bit pricy, Im torn between buying one for the 4 walkways, and risk sitting it down for months. im thinking ill eventually get my money back. I just fear that i will buy the expensive saw, and eat up 100.00 blades like crazy. It would kill my profits
