Smith is tough as hell! Not a big guy before putting on weight but took shots and kept on going as well as staying healthy. As long as the added weight doesnt slow him down, he’s protecting himself!

@@Muleboy14 True. I should say I just want to see some type of stretch of dominance. Like multiple 75 yd TD in consecutive weeks, 150 yd games more often. So etching that makes him stand out. So far he's just good he's a 1k receiver but, the real ones are 1400k and he's playing an extra game so 1k no longer carries the same weight.

Nah age is playing its part. I was 125 last year around this time and now I’m 150. Ofc his diet plays a part too but I’m glad he’s able to put some weight on can’t wait to see what level he’s at this upcoming season 😈

He’s finally filling out as a man! That will help! That’s the problem with 17-24yo men, and even women, we develop and grow during our teens and 20’s. Can’t wait to see how it helps him to shake a tackler or two. It’s the ONLY thing missing from his game.

It’s possible. I was around Smitty weight last football season in October around 173 now I’m 191. Very possible with hard work

I can guarantee you exactly ONE thing. Smith didn’t gain anything close to 20 pounds of muscle. He might have gained quality weight but even for someone that’s taking steroids with a great frame to add muscle, it would be quite a feat to can 20 pounds of muscle that fast.
Smith do not want to put on to much weight to fast. 20lbs is to much weight to put on in the off season. If he did gain 20lbs it will effect his speed and quickness.
Upper body weight is a quickness killer. Don’t believe it? Velcro a 10lb sandbag to each of your shoulders, run around and find out
If DeVonta added 10 pounds of solid muscle, that would be an enormous accomplishment for anybody, even if you had the frame to add it. He certainly didn't add 20 pounds of muscle that's not even debatable. He'd be hovering around 190. That's too heavy for him and that is not his game.
Get that kid eating peanut butter if he wants to put on weight
