What Devon accomplished was very impressive. The fact that levan just ran through Devon shows how incredible he is.

Nice video, really highlights Devon's journey and how it was almost a fairy tail ending. The amount of dedication it takes to get so close and fail has to be heartbreaking.

What a powerfull end of video, the determination in the eye of Devon, analyzing the reaction of Levan and thinking : "maybe,maybe it's my time?" Knowing the result of the match, it hits hard...

I think Devon is now nearly out of passion to think about pulling. He has put so much in to that match with Levan.

I think anyone who says stuff like this really don't know Devon, the fact that you see he literally says after the first match that he won't challenge Levan again then proceeds to do so within 2 years should be all the proof you need that you can't keep this guy down. If him and Levan had a 3rd match some day I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

Yeah, the movie/documentary that Devon should've released the last time he lost against Levan. But hey, now we get to see a documentary of Levan's greatness.

Some may think it's cringe but I genuinely look up to this guy... I honestly think he's a great man. And seeing this journey so beautifully represented & edited... ending with Devon STOPPING the titan... Yes we all know how it ended, but I honestly don't care. Devon might think he failed but to me, him stopping Levan in the CENTER for THAT long ROUND ONE was so impressive. My jaw dropped when I saw it live... This video is very well done & kinda hit me in the feels. I hope one day Devon can look back at this match with nothing but pride. I know if I were Auden, I'd be so damn proud of what Devon did.

Absolutely not cringe. I'm a 27 year-old dude and seriously, I listen to every word out of Devon Larratt's mouth and I look up to him immensely. The vast wisdom he has garnered over his particular life is something I have not seen in very many people. Others may be wise for sure, but Devon is wise in a very special way.

Notice how Devon really never said once like seriously on the second time that he was going to promise to murder or destroy Levan, unlike with Denis and Georgi and Dave. He already knew Levan would be too much, and the way he said he was just more ‘curious’ to test his level, was also another red flag lol

I like how you call your own statements logical and wise when they don't even make sense. There's nothing wrong with Devons training method. Everyone who says it's bad just because he lost to someone 60 kg heavier than him that hasn't been pinned in 7 years, seem to forget that Devon still reached number 2 in the world at nearly 50 years of age. There's nothing Devon could have done that would have made him win against Levan without severely risking his own health.

@@hugohoeglund1424 Sorry, but I’ve been resistance training longer than Devon, and I’m nearly 10yrs older than him, And nobody can put on maximum weight and power by statically training 1 arm everyday, while at the same time not doing proven compound exercises, such as pull-ups, push-ups, various other presses and rows at longer range of motion only about twice per week, then allow recovery, the Georgians under stand these basic strength training facts, Yes Devon was awesome for 270lbs, so just imagine if he would’ve muscled up properly to around 310lbs? Hell I’m 6’2 255lbs, and I don’t even take roids or even TRT like Devon and the rest of the pros, Believe me, Levan wouldn’t be as big and strong as he is if he only trained 1 arm.

@@snsdkbopper7819 Devon has been arm wrestling for 30 years and has tried a lot of training methods. Surely he has tried compound lifts at some point, no? Yet hes stronger than ever in spite of being lighter than when he faced levan last time. Also, you being the same weight as Devon despite being shorter, older and on less steroids doesn't matter because you're a different person with different genetics. Devon has never really been that heavy and it's clear his performance isn't tied to his weight.

I may not agree with the way Devon conducts himself sometimes but god dammit if he isn’t one of the best in history

Thanks for this. This was both beautiful and sad. It’s hard to see your idols fall short of their expectations. But, Devon, please know this, THAT FIRST ROUND WAS ENOUGH! It was ENOUGH. ENOUGH my friend. It was one of the most priceless moments in my average existence and I thank you my friend for giving it to us.

I want to see Levan come out and challenge Devon again in 2 years time as well as an open challenge to Ermes, Dennis, Genadi, vitali etc. Basically the top 5 guys. For them to really analyze theor training and face Levan. I think it would be a good challenge for him and great for arm wrestling. Devon says he thinks hes done in shw's. But i think he'll be back for the challenge and i believe more general and direct bicep training in addition to what he already does is just going to help him. Great video btw.

My god ppl. He’s not even a puller now. He’s washed up. Give it a dam rest. He’s broke!! Yellowed out with davit even

Looking back he sure had a lot go right for him. If you remember Michael Todd was on his way to pulling Levan; then Levan got hurt and Michael accepted a rematch with Devon even though he recently beat him. Then again Michael was gonna pull Prudnik for a title and then Michael got hurt so Devon slid in there. Devon also took a loss to Genadi and instead of having to work his way up the ladder, got a shot with Ermes which turned into another shot with Levan. Normally when someone takes a loss they have to pull other guys and build back up, but he was able to jump the line to title holders several times. Also if you think about his loss to Michael Todd gave him the idea of pulling in a kings move which definitely helped him beat Chaffee and even Hutchings which he definitely wasnt gonna beat without it. Then when the rematch with Michael Todd was gonna happen Devon got them to make the rules say no downward angle on kings move.
