I saw them in Philly shortly after they released the new record, and hearing them close with Higher was magical man. Such a beautiful piece

Arguably one of the best front persons in the world ever. To be so confident to shrug off the macho metal rubbish that inevitably gets spouted at these things. A grown-up metalhead's legend!

Ive known about Devin Townsend for a long time but I've never really heard his stuff in any real detail. I've known about him simply because of his unique sense of humor. This is some top notch song-writing. Great stuff.

I am guitarist for years now . I don't know what this person have but i just discovered him and his band from inside spot by mistake..The guys are kicking ashes and dust .the production and the composing is something else .I am not saying something else for you all but they got in to my brain and i don't know why? They are not even my music style ...But i love them big time .. I cant leave without listening the song failure....All the best Mr Townsend and your band.....

He is like Mike Patton, infinitely good voice which never lets down, in fact it gets better with time! How the actual fuck xD inhumanly good live!

God bless Devin and all of his bandmates some of the nicest guys you will ever meet if you get the opportunity to I met them last year in St Louis Missouri playing for about 200 people LOL at a place called The Ready room I have listened to Devin ever since he started his career and everything he has ever done is a total blessing to our ears he is incredible musician and songwriter the very best in my opinion live long and prosper the Devin Townsend project

Sometimes it's the little things for me in these songs. I love in this live version I can distinctly hear that crash symbol when they kick into Deadhead.

Sounds like his voice had one of those days again. Funny thing about this is that Devin on his worst day is still a pretty good vocalist ^^.

Angry shit album, most SYL. triply metal album is gonna be casualties of cool... overall best album though, just because its so dev but so easy to listen to is surely Ocean Machine, which I have to say is mind blowing played full and live.
