    Even more insane that he's only 24. I believe he lost the Loma fight, personally, but at that age to essentially draw vs a guy with 2 Olympic gold medals, 396-1 and who actually unified the belts is an incredible achievement. And he dominated all of his other opponents. What would push him into legend status is if he rematched Loma.

    Devin Haney is truly chasing greatness. He's always been invested in boxing 100%. You can see him walk out with Zab for a fight he had when he was 10 years old. Boxing is this guy's life.

    Would love to see Haney rematch Loma but props to him fighting Loma when nobody else wanted to and now he’s fighting regis, another fighter nobody wanted to fight.     I slowed Devin Haney fight down with lomachenko (slow motion), with pen and paper to count bodies and head shots from both fighters throughout the fight. Haney had the same no# of body shots as lona had straight jabs. Haney won that fight hands down

    @@Mike-hy8csmost boxers are not truthful about their walk around weight. Rolly Romero walks around at 180 and he cuts down to 135 and 140 without any complaints. So if Haney walked around 20 lbs lighter than Rolly does, why would making 135 be so hard for him?

    @@RoyaltyGotHits Cause he said he isnt a fat 160. He said he is still cut up at 160 which means he isnt losing much fat to get down to 135. Which makes it way harder. You could be 200 lbs and fight at 147 it just depends on what kind of weight you are cutting. If you stay in shape all year round your walk around weight is probably not going to be 40 or 50 lbs heavier than what you fight at

    Honestly, great interview - he seems so level headed and chill in comparison to the likes of Tank and others. I do also like that he went away from the promotion he preferred just to get the fights / belts he wanted and then stuck to his word and returned. It's EXACTLY how these fighters should be navigating the various promotions - just go out, make your deals and land where you need to / want to in order to get the most appealing fights.

    Haney grew on me during this interview. I didn’t really like him prior. I like how he seems genuine and gave the MMA guys props stating he can’t go in the cage and win. He humbled himself. I like it. Let’s see him and tank and shakur go at it!

    He’s been humble I think you guys run with narratives from people who hate him and watch bias clips of him and judged him the Lomachenko fight was something I think he took the villain role in which wasn’t him at all but if you’ve followed his career he’s always been humble and carried himself like a champ and has always chased the biggest fights

    No he won't, it don't work that way. He might have more man strength in the clinch and more endurance that's it. You can't coach power.

    You either have power or you don't. Eating a little more and cutting less weight won't magically change that. He'll definitely be feeling healthier and fuller for 140 but that doesn't do anything as far as natural genetics in power .

    Not sayin Devin is on Mayweathers level but him and Money Mayweather have similar styles. Ortiz said Mayweather couldn’t crack an egg with a punch, same goes for Devin. But just like how Floyd put a hellacious beating on Mcgreggor Haney would obliterate Sean in that ring. It would be his first Ko in like 48 months and it be so bad you’d think Haney was a Ko artist💯

    Sean gets paid plenty, ufc literally put his sponsor on the canvas, they literally don’t do that for anyone. He’s just a smart business man and knows that if he could make a boxing fight happen, it would raise his popularity and future opportunities

    The mma guys going to boxing was on its last legs until this weekend.. Francis just brought that back to life.. he showed it’s totally possible! These comments from Devin havnt aged well. In his defence I and I think most were with his thinking but, I have Francis little chance.. Francis once again overcomes the odds.. They have to make a movie about this guy one day. It’s a perfect movie script.. Coming from where he did, into the UFC, then it all starts to look like it could fall apart but he rises through it again.. perfect movie!!

    If Stevenson wanted the fight, he should have took the money he was offered. He didn't want the fight though, or believe enough in himself to win. He priced himself out of the picture when he brought nothing to the table.
