These scrimmages help the youth develop theirs game and understand the details of playing at the highest level. In my opinion, these events are one of the reasons why American Basketball is at different level compared to the rest of the world and is still evolving so rapidly. In Africa more specifically Angola, where I am from, there is no little to none interactions between pro players and the kids. This is important for development and assurance for the kids to be able to participate in these events and at the same time be at the place with players they admire. Amazing

The lack of passing on both sides is remarkable. I always coach kids to pass BEFORE they get in trouble, pass to the open man as soon as you see them open, move without the ball... I wonder if we will ever get back to playing this as a team game. The skill level is obviously impressive but this scrimmage is just insufferable to watch.
