I love it when a band has it very own style of music and Devil Driver is definitely one of those bands.

AHHHHH...... the soothing sounds of heavy metal. They don't get much better than this.

the thing i love about Devildriver is that they havent changed their sound one bit, they have stayed true to their own sound, and its heavy as balls, soo many metal bands nowadays try to follow the "scene" and do whats "cool/mainstream" to appease to the large musically ignorant majority. Truth is kids nowaday dont know wtf is good music, they just like what's hand feed to them through the radio

Dez is great, his vocals stay consistent throughout all the albums. DevilDriver is one of the greatest metal bands

Barely Meshuggah. Timing, feel and essence all wrong even the first quad triplet breakdown has a nuance you feel once studied. This is not Meshuggah but Sick AF regardless.

Before I began listen to Devildriver, I missed some really badass riffs, and some brutal but still melodic metal. then I found Devildriver. I freaking LOVE Devildriver!

This has been one of my favourites from Adam ever since I first listened to the album

first song i heard by devildriver or dez, and still my favourite DD or CC song, even after seeing CC live :D

This band fucking kicks ass. I love every second of their music.

This was the first band that got me into actual heavy music. I started off with Iron Maiden, Metallica, priest, etc but this band was the the band that introduced me to the darker/heavier side! Now I'm in love with black metal, death metal and all the extreme metal genres! Thanks Devildriver \m/

Devildriver and Lamb of God are the bands on the planet!!!!!

How I've just now really heard this song is beyond me. I never went through strictly a DevilDriver phase but still odd. It's damn good so I'm kinda glad I'm just now finding it.

Guitar tone is crushing and SICK. Kudos to the engineer and mixer, and of course the guitarists.

Brutal song. Too bad audio quality sucks :/

Dez has evolved so much since the coal chamber days I remember seeing them in 1996... mighty Pantera,Machine Head and Coal Chamber was the opener...Great show...

What a fucking delicious song. Not many bands that can match Devildriver for combined skill throughout the band. Riffs, drums, vocals, the true complete package.

Dez's vocals are amazing. Love this band!

He's not a "cookie monster" vocalist. He's not guttural enough to be called a real death metal vocalist. Everyone has different inspirations, this guy must have different inspirations than someone like corpsegrinder or Strnad does.

Trivium released one masterpiece: Shogun. The other albums are either boring, good or even great, but Shogun is the only truly inspired moment of their careers. They confuse being melodic with being fluffy.

***** Yeah, Shogun was very strong and my favourite. Ascendancy is my second favourite for it's great riffs and songwriting but can not match the epic songs of Shogun. I still like modern trivium (In waves to present), but definitely not as much compared to Shogun.

I don't understand Coal Chamber. Idk what they're about. Devildriver, however, has always struck a chord with me. Although Dez is super excited about the new Coal Chamber record. I'll give it a try.

Coal Chamber was the shit, without Coal Chamber there would be no Devil Driver, and Jack and Ozzy Osbourne obviously agree since they discovered Coal Chamber and signed them.. Hell Ozzy is on their album art and one song and stars in a music video by coal chamber. lol

one of my pet peeves is when a band sounds absolutely AMAZING until the singing starts. these guys rock, but in my opinion theyd be ten times better with an actual singer. not a cookie monster vocalist.

im totally unable to sing it better...as im not a musician. but i am a huge fan of music, and i think devildriver has a phenomenal rhythm section...held back by a mediocre singer. even you cant tell me this guy has a good voice
