Just saying, in the games "Devil Trigger" refers to a mechanic where the characters are half human and half demon, using your Devil Trigger makes you turn into your true Devil form, making you stronger, faster, regenerate health and access to a more powerful moveset. In Devil May Cry V, Nero unlocks his true Demonic form for the first time, making this theme fitting for him.

Actually devil trigger is neros true devil from but for vergil and dante is there sin devil trigger that's there true form just imagine if they give nero a win devil trigger form in dmc6

The line "embrace the darkness that's within me, no hiding in the shadows anymore" fits Nero well.

Glad this one didn't disappoint as well. I can promise the others I mention later won't either. The songs in all of the dmc games mostly had the same "feeling" to them. But 5 definitely has the most variety when it comes to themes for the characters. Or at least they all feel drastically different. For each of them they have different writers and vocalists (Casey having both Nero and Vergil however). If you'd like more I highly, HIGHLY recommend "Subhuman" (Dante's battle theme). There are a few different versions but the first search (the one posted by "Audrey Bunny") is the way to go. Other songs from dmc I'd recommend are "Crimson Cloud", "Devil's Never Cry", and "Never Shall Surrender". But again, I recommend "Subhuman" next.

The music is also indicative of the generation of the character. Vergil and Dante are older characters from an era of the game where it was more metal focused and Nero is essentially the newer blood. So his theme is different in the sense his music is more “modern”

These themes also give meaning to each character’s struggles and personality’s. They’ve crammed so much into a beautifully written piece.

Just knowing that Casey got Ali to do the vocals here and they're so pristine, my god. Masterpiece.

Loved your reaction to DT, same with your BtL one. Continuing the streak from DMC5, I'd suggest Dante's theme "Subhuman" (though I'd suggest you listen to the OST version uploaded by DarkVizard rather than the Game Edit everyone keeps uploading) and leaving DMC5, I'd also suggest "Devils Never Cry" from DMC3 and "Shall Never Surrender" from DMC4. The franchise has great tracks all-around.

(I believe you meant "DarkVizardBerryTan") I could never find the OST version on youtube so thanks. For me I'd recommend either or. The OST version is more composed as a song while the game edit version has more awesome sounds to enjoy listening to (and it doesn't leave out any of the lyrics). They both have a few different parts that make them stand out from one another while still being the same song. Really wish they were combined into one. But I realize there are those people who will definitely say in the comments "Oh you should've listened to the OST version".

@@soldier_6641 Yes, I did mean them, I just cut the name short since I thought it'd be enough to know who I'm talking about. Glad to have helped. I recommended the OST version because it's better structured like a normal song and sounds less "repetitive". I do love the guitar riffs the Game Edit has, but the build ups the OST version has along with that sick choir are enough for me to put it a notch above the Game Edit one. Also, I'm not quite sure what you meant by the lyrics, but both versions include all of the lyrics as far as I remember. Worst case scenario, the Game Edit is missing the final chorus. I'll be fine with whichever, but since I've seen reactions to the Game Edit calling it "repetitive", I thought I'd suggest the safer version. Plus I do like the OST version a bit more.

You got to look at it like commission sales. My reactions planned for today got blocked. The soundtrack songs don't even get copyright claims. It's the end of the month and the KZread gods put their foot down today, and told me to make some sales. As long as the tracks fall into the metal side that fits the main viewers of the channel, I'm good with it.

@@Hoopsick It's all fun and games until you hit the Final Fantasy 14 OST. Then there's no coming back from that.

"Feel the Shock" is underappreciated from that game. Probably cause it's not connected to a boss or a main character.

the cool thing about dmc5 is the soundtrack is wildly different based on the characters you play it does not stick to the game's theme but to the characters and their personality

Great Reaction! Like the Song 2 but, In my Opinion the older tracks from Combichrist from Devil may cry 4 are unbeatable. Never surrender and Throat full of glass are so damn good. Would recommend them

Combichris did the reboot they weren't on dmc4 that was ShootieHG for the most part in terms of vocal tracks and Tetsuya Shibata with Jason Shyboy doing Never Surrender
