@@bancon666 Yes, and all of those versions predate the HD release that Chang is referring to as the "Remake" So... Chang was correct, and all you did was tell him the way in which he was correct while calling him wrong

I feel like Raidou is the perfect balance between the lightheartness of Persona and the edgyness of mainline SMT

im not sure about you but i would have wanted to actually face off the soulless army rather than finding them ocassionally in battles. at the end, we truly only fought a gundam in edo japan. which is fucking awesome but i would have enjoyed both things.

oh yes that PS2 opening

one last thing: - the defender of the capital, raidou kuzunoha fights with a katana but the nationalists or whatever soulless army uses rapiers? i think (based on wikipedia) they are spanish rapiers, from the beggining of the 17th century.

Dude, you indeed have no idea what kind of atmosphere the Shin Megami Tensei games use. Maybe the last 2 Persona games are like this but certainly not Devil Summoner. Don't judge a game by the opening, k? ;)

@@rustynail638 As a kid, I didn't really know what I was doing. All I know is that I slowly learn the game mechanics as I progressed the storyline. However, I didn't get to finish it because my brain was too small to solve a level. It was a fun journey, its just the CD is corrupted now and I can't continue it.

raidou kuzunoha is like a slim, shin megami tensei styled kujo jotaro. what a badass.

The title certainly leaves much to the imagination.

Funny bit of continuity. The point of emergance for those tenticales is the same point the Demi-Fiend's control organ is. This is also the point where, in the SMT universe, all of humanity had demon controling organs at one point.

In my mind's eye, I've always pictured Snap with sideburns just like that; the sideburns of a total bad ass.

Oh, At last i could see it with out glitching. My ps2 slim ray broken and I can only play throught OPL. But any rendered cut-scene glitch like hell. And that glitch blew a lot of really awesome cut-scene: Both finals cut-scene from KH I and KH II, FF X-2 Yuna's Opening Song, Yuna's 1000 Words, and Final CUt-scene, All God of War rendered cut-scenes. It's hell

yes for the emulator, since today you can actually play it 3x the resolution and quality the PS2 had.

That is what I have done.

I don't have a capture card and my PS2's power supply broke, so I'm running the game disc through PCSX2. It works, but... framerate sometimes suffers and it crashes completely if you so much as look at another program.

Oh wow... this game. My PS2 broke while I was halfway through this... you've made me want to give it another go and try emulating it... I'm not 100% sure about this, but you might be able to get a better framerate and such if you make an iso from your cd and run that instead. Might work, might not work, might already be too late to make a difference. ^^

I disagree in this being done better, due to Persona 5 being seen as more then a game from my perceptive and more of an experience in soooo many ways and Persona 4 just having a strong impression on me when I played it I personally find those games to just be better. However im overjoyed that others fucking remember Steambot Chronicles, one of my favorite ps2 games of all time, hitting me right in the musical feels(also the ability to be a bad guy ways pretty awesome for its time) Shame there wasn't a second one when it had a fucking trailer all done and game magazines at the time talking about it, its a sin ill never be able to forgive Atlus for as long as I live.

It just seems so... flashy? Anime-like? So kiddy-ish? So..straightforward looking? So.. something different to what is...? I can almost imagine characters going "Hey-YA!!! HO!!! Take THAT Evil Monster N" And you covering it with calm and paced "Yes, we know, yes yes, your dark-evil strike, good good, but we also have our lives, well, my life, to be getting on with, so would you please die already?" It's that kind of juxtaposition...

This song remembres me and give me vibes to Persona 5. It’s so strange. I think them plagiarized the OST from that game, and that’s so bad. Persona 5 should expose them to steal their style.
